He locked her in the castle, prevented her from making friends, barred her from meetings with the other nobles. He could at least let her join the casual dinners! Sure she had made some unsavory comments the last time…multiple unsavory comments…in a row…But everyone makes mistakes! She may not be the smartest royal around, or the most magically gifted, or the most studious, or the most talented…but she was NOT dumb. She would show him this time. Show him that she could take care of herself. Show him what she was capable of. WITHOUT the servants’ help this time!
