The Bean Legacy - Ruined Farmhouse and Sunken Silo (Static)

After Jack had slain the giant by felling the beanstalk, the plant began the slow process of decomposition. As it rotted, not only nutrients leached from the beanstalk, but also primal magic causing the surrounding farmland at first to become fecund, and then to transform into overgrown wetlands. By this point, however, Jack had leveraged his newfound wealth and moved away with his family to more civilized lands.

There are a variety of reasons the characters might decide to investigate Jack's abandoned farm. Scared villagers may ask them to investigate a giant seen coming out of the swamp to steal livestock. The characters may be chasing rumors that Jack left treasure behind, or they may be in search of fey or primal magic.

Previously there was a collaboration with AAW Games, if you remember the Spore Song adventure.  I really like their mini dungeon series because there's a great need for really quick to read, one shot adventures, and this adventure is simply brilliant. Thanks to them for making this adventure available to CG patrons! I hope you like it and the maps made for it, which can otherwise be used on their own too.

On one of the maps you'll find Jack's house, half swallowed up by the swamp, with the remains of the decaying beanstalk and the skeleton of a misfortunate traveller stuck under a fallen tree.

On the other map, the decomposing beanstalk occupies an even larger space, while a sunken silo occupies the western part.
