TAPHOUSE (Chaotic Good Complete Pack)

The last reward of the month is a rundown taphouse at the end of the village, where your players may confront local thugs. You, generous Chaotic Good Patron get this scene with and without the roof, in HD and UHD, day and night versions and there is an extra, versatile grassy-plain in the pack without the buildings. I'm pretty satisfied how these scenes came out, so more village scenes and plain fields will come in the next months. 


You can also download a free rain particle effect from here, which can be used on this map and of course on any others with the Dynamic Dungeons Player as you can see it in the cover video

If you don't have the Dynamic Dungeons Editor and Player yet, you can buy it here.  

(The particle effects used in this demo video were dragged to the scene from userfolder/DynamicDungeons/editor/props/particlefx subfolder. You should manually make a subfolder inside /props and copy the .particle files there to be able to see them in the props browser. You can name the subfolder as you wish. Particle effects can be saved to the scene using the editor or you can simply drag and drop them to the scene while you're in player mode. The rain effect was made using two different particle effects and I scaled them up a bit to fit to the scene. In the video I played a background rain sound effect from YouTube.)

If you mean the Fire and Snowstorm effect, These are available in the Dynamic Dungeon Editor v2.

Anyone know where I can find the Fireball and Smoke Particle Effects found in the video (when he shows the particle menu)? Also, anyone know a good source for props for the Dynamic Dungeon Player?

Nevermind DD hehe -- I figured it all out by now. But, I second more particle effects. Like the spell effects, etc would be awesome also. But how can you delete an effect once placed? Anyone know?

Hey DD, I've solved everything else, can I can't figure out how to use particle effects, and if you have more of them? I downloaded your rain particle and my story has a lot of "dark, rainy nights" ... can you show me how to use the rain and do you have other effects?

Hi , DD, no worries, 15 hours later I've figured everything out. I had to close and open everything a few times until I figured if I opened the manager and then the player the manager would kick in an then everything made sense! :D all good now!

Sorry to be spamming but I did find a how to that got all my assets into the library. so now just trying to figure out what the "manager" app does (loads and says waiting for player) and how to use (paint away) fog of war. I'm pretty good with photoshop so I figure it's probably a simple mistake on my part hehe.

Last possibly stupid question: the "fog of war" just makes my whole screen black. I can shift-F to turn it off but that doesn't help much. The instructions on how to start with an area illuminated, and also, to 'scrub away' the fog as my party moves around isn't working. Any tips, for mac? :)

Also! I want it to be rainy and dark and spooky. I downloaded your rain particles but not sure how to use them. I've made a nice "sewer module story" but haven't figured out loading the assets into the editor yet, etc...still reading through your FAQs. Fun! :)

Hey DD, I am backing at CG and just bought the DD editor/player v2. Have a few questions but first , I can't figure out how to rotate tiles. I'm sure I read you wrote somewhere V2 can rotate tiles so when I'm building a sewer system I can connect the turny bits etc properly--- what's the command to rotate?

Someone said earlier, like using effects in the partiiclefx like spells, would be HUGE! like fireball, or lighting strike... endless... and would BLOW players away!

Hello just Awesome! I have a question I hope someone can answer. I am able to use the particlefx in the editor mode, and it will display in player mode but I would love to be able to add particle on the fly in game mode, using the Dynamic Manger? How can this be done?

LOVE LOVE LOVE the field map! We could use a few more versatile nature tiles to but up together for wilderness travel or building structures on top of, I've been hoping for that for a while now! Something we can use as a template to build towns/cities over top of in programs like ArkenForge!
