Thanks for the reply, I figured it out, I just didnt understand how the screen switch was functioning. Essentially youre extending your display to the left or right, pressing 1-2 didnt do anything for me. I had to press the laptop hotkey to extend display. Once it did it worked great. Thanks again.

Try to set the primary and secondary resolutions, screen resize custom percent and check if the TV plugged in is an extended display and really set as secondary display. Could you please send me a short video (recorded with phone) showing the problem to dynamicdungeons@gmail.com? Also the latest dates log files of the Manager and the Player would be helpful.

Dynamic Dungeons

Please help! Pressing 1 or 2 to toggle display does nothing for me. The screen flickers and want to toggle an image but it never serves to the other display, Using Windows 10, has anyone found a fix?

It’s normal working, when you save a story, all the related content is going to be saved to a new folder inside the player directory.

Dynamic Dungeons

My resource folder on the editor keeps changing. When i move my maps into the correct folder, it works but after opening a dungeon story file. The resource folder address changes to that story file location. Player.->resources instead of editor->resources. Any advice on this?

Steven

Any chance you're going to be releasing more props anytime soon? I know you've been busy with the new maps, just checking :) thanks!

Adam Kaupisch

Thanks for the feedback Marc, glad you like it! 1. Long press on a prop or particle fx will open up the prop window. There you'll find the answer to the 2nd question. A map can be removed by clicking it in the editor and click on "remove".

Dynamic Dungeons

Really enjoying the editor - but a few things that are unclear. 1) I can't quite figure out how to resize / rotate objects I bring into the map. 2) How do you delete objects once they're there. 3) Once you import new maps, how do you remove them from the editor? Really great work! I'm loving it.

I've been using the Editor for all my games now and LOVE it. Any updates in a release date for 2.0?

Any update? I have two co-workers that want to buy it ASAP, lol.

Tho we just play and take into account that most of the squares are more like 10ft than 5

I’m in the same boat ^^

Looking forward to v2.0! With the support of 4k will larger screens also be supported? (I have a 50" TV I would like to use, but I can't make the grid small enough to make it viable right now).

How is the testing going? Are we there yet? :)

Is it possible to have a tutorial for a windows computer?

Hello. I used 1st Time the dungeon Player and it was just great! My sugestion is, that you sould make an addon with traps and monuments or objects for dungeons. It would be really great if you would improve the caves with new tiles and objects also. Anyway you are just great!

Really looking forward to 2.0!

Kevin Sullivan

It’s ready I’m just doing the final tests of the Windows version

Dynamic Dungeons

Any news ?

Swiechu

2.0 sounds like its going to rock!!!! sooo looking forward to this I second Felipe's request (aka save "campaigns" and push them over to the player)

Pedro

You’re a god

Jeremy Vassalo

looking forward to 2.0 it's going to be awesome! I am just curious if you have considered adding in a "load story" option on the player after you have already loaded your initial story. Unless I am doing things incorrectly, right now I have to close the player completely if I want to load a new story.

looking forward to this!

Spencer Clark

Cute settings icon, Tamas.

Damn that looks awesome mate. Can't wait to get my hands on some god tier custom options like that.

David Macarthur

Yes, the highest supported resolution remains 4096x4096, but you’ll be able to choose the desired part of the image to show or the entire picture with borders if the aspect ratio is not 16:9. I’ll show you this feature under development, so we could find the most useful way for image adjustment.

Dynamic Dungeons

awesome work guys im excited to the realese date of the editor v2 thanks

And now the questions: While I use predominantly your maps in your player, I do rely on some other maps - either to supplement or specific to the adventure I'm running. Sometimes I have trouble importing really high resolution their party maps. Will the 4k support make it easier to run high resolution third party content? Also, I wish there was a way to toggle off the way the player samples the "best view" of a map and crops off the edges. Will the "Image scale, offset and crop" functions allow me to display an entire map? I'd rather it put a border around a map that didn't fit than extend it beyond the edges of the frame.

Lou Anders

This is amazing. Your work is really, really an essential part of our campaigns. Thank you so much. I have questions, but I want this comment to just be about praise!

Lou Anders

You are a man committed to excellence!!

Cris Jesse

Looks amazing; I can not WAIT for release! Keep up the great work!

The Dynamic Dungeons Editor V2 looks truly amazing. Well done! The different magical and environmental effects will truly revolutionize our tabletop experience. You are so awesome for making this and your creativity continues to impress! I really love these maps, thank you!

WOW!!!! I can't wait!!!

Eric Layton

I’m glad you like it. Measuring distance would be very useful, but I’m not sure how could it work with the customizable grid size. Will think about it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Dynamic Dungeons

OMG v2 looks so awesome. I've been waiting for overlays and this looks amazing! Thought, in play mode will there be a selection for an overlay for distances? That way if a player wants to cast a specific spell the DM/GM can measure out the distance and show the area of effect?
