He said it's discrimination. Even evil people love their friends. The point being it's easy to love your friends but Christ called them to love their enemies.

2025-10-11 21:21:44 +0000 UTCI think the bible that Snake reads from is likely a illuminated manuscript, which is a highly valuable item! This is about 500 years before the printing press is invented, so this book would've been written and bound by hand, as well as adorned with colors and gold. I don't know my medieval economics, but I would bet Snake could live large on whatever he could trade for it. Only noblemen, merchants and priests would probably have that kind of book.
