CMYKizer tox V1

Hi everyone! Thank you for your subscriptions! I created an little patch yesterday to shade anything with a CMYK printed style, it's not perfect but it's fun! I might update it later but here is Version 1 of it as a tox!

It adapts automatically to the resolution of the input and has a few parameters to play with.

Hi everyone! While you wait for the free tutorial on YouTube, here is a Tox and Toe with the essentials for Datamoshing.

 For now the tox has two input:
- input 1: the video you're displacing
-input 2: what optical flow is basing itself on, if nothing is connected it'll be normalled to the first input

On the parameter page you have two toggles, the first one is the reset of the feedback, to get your image back to normal, and the second one is to freeze the optical flow...

Reactive grid reworked

This is version 2 of my reactive grid, one month after my tutorial I found a far better way so here is a file with controls! you can activate circles, lines, change the orientation, change the number of rows and columns, and change the noise parameters. Hi everyone, I am really humbled by the supports you're showing me here and on instagram and discord!

The next tutorial will be about the bi directionnal MIDI sequencer I've been showing on instagram, I believe it's a great introduction to MIDI sequencing and creating your own weird sequencers. Creating tutorials is time consuming as you already know, but I'll do my best to have it out soon!

Distance sequencer V1

TD FILE: RICHTERIZE YOUR IMAGES

Do you know about Gerhard Richter? the painter? well I made a patch that takes all the images in a folder and does that signature color smudging. 

In the file you'll see two fun things:

• the replication and stretching of the images, reactive to the number of images in the folder

• the animation, a bent use of RGBA delay COMP, used to shift animation axes!

Second ever tutorial

Let's go for a second tutorial, I intended to continue on my interactive series of tutorial but after a lot of sollicitations on instagram I quickly shot this one. It was a lot more work to shoot but I'm happy to share something that combines so much of my own research and interests :)

Hi everyone, thanks a lot for the support. I managed to record a first tutorial, I tried to not overdo it and make a simple straightforward video I can build upon in the next episodes.

PIXELLATE YOUR UVs!

For this new patch, I'll share a technique I've used a few times already in different context. It's a way to pixellate an image, but not really! The squished left over parts creep between the pixels for a liquid, chrome effect. UV maps can be used really creatively when you start mis-using them!

R&D Adaptative 3D Grid

In this project you'll see how to change the resolution of a grid of instances while having their size automatically adapt to the new resolution. It's also a comprehensive exemple of how I do most of my instancing using TOPs.
