2025-10-08 02:47:34 +0000 UTCi LOVE that the thesis statement for mob psycho 100 is that "people need people". its SO TRUE!! i know this is probably not meant to be so deep, but whenever people fall prey to some really horrible mindsets (like, fascism and stuff like that, but also more dumb stuff like the 'redpill' bullcrap), its ALWAYS because people think that they dont need other people and that other people are actually 'worth' less than they themselves are. and its just NEVER true! i love that this silly little anime (and the manga too) really just get to the heart of the whole issue by being very clear: no matter how strong and/or capable you think you are as a person - you WILL need other people. no one person can do it all alone, its impossible. its a really nice message (and one i wish more people would internalize).
