2025-08-05 00:50:38 +0000 UTCI don't know if this has been explained to you or not. But 'kyaa' is meant to be a very cute girly scream either when excited, exclaiming, or scared. So when a character like Sanji hears kya he knows to run in that direction to help the cute young lady. So when Sanji runs towards the kya and it not a small, cute lady he will get angry. I believe Ussop got on Sanji's bad side in Skypia for kya-ing. For the VA interview the Kya was to show that he was hit by the female hormones and transformed.

2025-08-01 17:58:16 +0000 UTCI have noticed how often Oda likes to include Australian wildlife in his art, but I hadn't considered that he would also include its mythology. Australia has many different gods a mythologies. Much like the native indians of america, there were lots of different tribes with different myths. A lot of these tales happen in The Dreamtime, when the world is being formed, and the most prominent figure is Rainbow Serpent (is this where the idea of Nola came from?) Theres quite a lot of fun tales and I encorage you to check them out! I always liked the tale of the Seven Sisters and Why Crows are Black

Along with taking a look at the video of the VAs reacting to parts of the live action (Interview - The Straw Hats' voice actors reveal the inside story. | ONE PIECE) and it would also be cool to see them watch that one behind the scenes vid of VAs all doing their lines together and stuff I dont know where a decent quality version of it is tho.. I have seen it before.... However I am excited for the other content we are getting on this small "break" its so fun to experience many aspects of OP with them :))

Different setting and time period, still classic One Piece humor. At this point of the series you do not need to watch the entirely of episodes 279-283, only watch the Straw Hat Theater shorts at the end of those episodes. The rest of the episodes are just the Straw Hats standing in front of the Tower of Justice and in front of Robin and CP9, recapping how the Straw Hats met and joined Luffy, which you already seen at episodes 512-516.
