2025-05-27 19:39:53 +0000 UTCI think it's important to remember something that Ed suggested a ways back in that because Ed and Al might be fused soul wise, due to Ed using his blood to create a seal that would be able to fuse Al's soul to the armour as well as the truth connecting them at the same time, it was suggested that Ed hasn't had a growth spurt because he was maintaining Al's body as well so it wouldn't just wither and die. With Al's soul slowly being drawn back as we've seen lately, Ed's started to grow because less and less nutrients were being pumped over to Al to keep his body alive. While it's nice that Ed's finally growing out of being a pipsqueak, it's a harrowing reminder that time's becoming short not just for the country but the chance Ed has to get Al his body back.
