-Not a spoiler- But yes, Haylie is quick to catch on to the fact that out of all the members of Arlong's crew (Arlong Pirates), only he (Arlong himself) and his three lieutenants; Hatchi (the one is this episode), Kuroobi (karate/elbow fins), and Chuu (the one with the uncomfortably weird lips) all were much stronger than the rest of the fishmen in the crew, and all four of them shared the same mysterious *sun* tattoo.

I remember us laughing so hard because of the face reveal. 1 of my friends run to the toilet because he was laughing so hard he almost peed himself. 2025-03-21 20:35:00 +0000 UTCif you rewatch the old episodes from cocoyashi village and nami's past, actually Hachi never really hurt Nami, never threatened her, he personally was really harmless to her and was one of the nicest, if not the nicest from Fishman pirates. Oda is incredible.

A lot of people forget later on that this show is super into the comedy cartoon aspect of animation. Especially when later the stakes get higher and higher, and enemies get even more deadly. Just remember these moments like this always existed, and they will continue to exist. Just fewer and farther between.

This is one of the most memorable moments in all of One Piece hands down. Oda's writing is just phenomenal. Not only is it right up his alley for character design, but the design was so absurd that it would not have worked in any other show because of this. It really grabs your attention too because who knows what the next goofy guy is gonna look like or if they tried something like this again. lmfao I funking love this show.

It was way past a year since the wanted posters were revealed, and all the community was theorizing who Duval could be. Don Krieg was in fact the one most were leaning towards.
