Izumi is one of my favorite women in anime, period. Funnily enough, two of my other favorite women in anime are also from this series. Winry, and another one. But Izumi is great.

First we have Hughes and his family, and now we saw how Izumi and her husband love each other a lot. I also love your discussion and theory a lot. Can't wait to proceed more with you girls.

Being able to go from the gag of their teacher easily beating them to throwing up a bunch of blood to then showing us the in-world reason why she's always sick is such a great way to have the humor and the character revelation. There's that balance between humor and emotional moments again
