The Dabchick Rehabilitation Fund

Welcome patrons old and new,

Sadly, Dabchick is breaking.

Through years of trial and error, Dabchick’s design has become strong in every way… besides evidently, the material choice :P (Dabchick covers some of the specifics of his degradation in a video released/due to be released on the 31st of July 2022).

I’m going to view this as an opportunity to seek out a more durable plastic, and work out a way of making him quickly replicable should he get lost or damaged again....

There were some subtle editing tweaks between the early version and this one so I figured I'd repost it!

'NIGHTCALL' (ft. The 'Gos')

So a little behind the scenes info...

I'm using my 'creepy face puppet' that I built about 4 months ago. The key concept of this puppet is that my mouth is projected in real-time on the puppets face using a tiny camera and screen. A UV light is also used so that the puppet glows, although here I decided to colour shift the result and may well do the same for future videos using this puppet, just to add some interesting variation.

Hi Patrons! Thanks for your words of support regarding the live events I recently took part in! Unfortunately there were rules against filming both events but I did manage to find someone who posted a 30 second clip of Dabchick performing 'Space Oddity' at the Chris Hadfield generator event, so I'll share that with you soon :) Both events went really well!
