Seems like there’s some vestiges of the humans still within the zombies even after they are loyal to Moira. I wonder if Oda drew from any actual humans for Hogback. I recently learned about a German radiologist who did similar things to a corpse. Sorry I have a morbid curiosity 😅

It really represents how women are not safe from men, even in death. Also I always thought Moria killed her so he could recruit Hogback as well so I'm glad you had the same impression!
