This is basically exactly how the manga starts so if you're confused by something in here compared to earlier episodes that might be why. I can only assume they wanted to start things off with more of a flashy thing than this

Long story short, people who didn't even watch the show or plan to watch their reactions voted for sub on principal and when they asked (in video) to comment dub or sub, dub won by a landslide. I'm typically sub only but this dub is iconic and it bums me out that they won't get to experience it

The science vs. religion themes are what make this show so memorable and timeless--every time I rewatch this series I notice/learn something new. I can't wait for you to see what comes next! There are no filler episodes, everything is important and relevant. It's truly one of the best stories ever written!

2025-02-16 07:45:00 +0000 UTCupdate: i just looked up the stuff.. i didn't know that she also voiced TheEmperor/Ken's voice in Digimon Adventures 02... then again i've seen that show in both English and Arabic dubs as a child back then, so it's possible i never clocked it. I need to rewatch digimon... shame how underrated it's become over time :(

And alphonse's VA also does the flying broom lady from JJK S2 ? i dont remember the other one from many others shows that they've seen. but edward's highly excitable and over the top voice definitely reminds me of Hange's antic when she/they are losing it.

Kind of an interesting comparison but LM Reactions has a large non English speaking fanbase and the dub still won out in their polls lol pretty wild. It's kool seeing the sub tho and either way as long as the girls enjoy it then that's all that matters
