That's a misunderstanding about how Logia works. It's not that logia makes you invulnerable. Logia let's you turn your body into something that happens to be invulnerable. You can't punch smoke or fire, so those fruits make you invulnerable. Sand is invulnerable because it just "flows away" from your punch - unless it's wet. Blackbeard's power is darkness - specifically the darkness you find on black holes and not the darkness that comes from lack of light. It works the opposite way of the sand power, instead of avoiding hits naturally, it attracts hits into it and doesn't let it go - like a black hole.

Unconfirmed at least as far as I know, (my opinion, not a spoiler) but I do not think that luffy didn't recognize usopp. Think about it, he knew who all was on the train to go to enies lobby, he knew who was on the second train. Usopp was never 'on either' as far as he knew, as soon as they all stood there for Robin, Luffy didn't hesitate to question Sogeking's skills as a sniper, he for sure should know that Sogeking was using a sling shot, he literally saw Usopp on the bridge, and then as they're leaving, somehow he's curious what happened to Usopp instead of freaking out to turn around because they 'forgot' Usopp? I guess Sogeking does say that Usopp went ahead of them but when? They were all there and Luffy saw all of it transpire. There's another hint at specifically this kind of thing later on in a few hundred episodes, not specifically with Usopp at all, but just recognition of someone. I just don't buy it. I'm confident that Luffy knew. And for sure Garp was missing on accident. He literally said he's going to be the only one attacking right after Aokiji decided to nap and say "i dont care what happens" basically.

Black Hole - "Spaghettification" This is when, if you are falling into a black hole feet first, your feet will feel more gravity than you head... and therefore your feet will fall in faster and will be stretched. Your whole body will feel this gradient of gravity and be "kneaded" into like spaghetti noodle. The dreaded spaghettification effect. Interestingly in a very giant super-massive black hole like Gargantua in the movie Interstellar... the guy said "it's a gentle" black hole... because the event horizon is so large that you won't even feel it when you pass through the point of no-return. You will not be spaghettified in very large super-massive black holes.

Sorry for this long comment in advance. As said before one of this arcs themes is leadership which was displayed through Luffy, Franky and Spandam(screw this guy). Luffy while having great emotional intelligence, failed to understand why Usopp was upset and responded with his emotions that escalated the conflict. Franky showed the empathy Usopp needed and grieved with him about the Merry, showing a more mature approach to handling that situation. Spandam was shown to be the example of nepotism, incompetence and failure to gain respect of his subordinates. Someone who should not be put in a position of power, even Lucci gave his respect to Luffy for his leadership for willingness to protect his crew while admonishing Spandam. Luffy being called out by Zoro was needed because no matter how easygoing he may be, he is still the captain, not just their buddy. And Usopp needed to realize his bullheadedness needs to be put in check if he wants to achieve his dreams, he made a pledge when shouting out his dreams, something Zoro held him to. I love this series for it's character writing.

All Ill say about ep 325 is that it was a PIVOTAL episode. PIVOTAL in bold and caps. This is really what I'm waiting for. I think there was a slight misunderstanding on Blackbeard's Devil Fruit, (correct me if Im wrong) - he's not constantly in pain from the fruit itself (again, apologies if I misunderstood what you guys were saying), but he's not constantly in pain, it's just that when he's hit with any attacks, sword strikes, punches, gunfire, other powers...etc, his fruit is different in that because it 'pulls things in' it wont harmlessly pass through his body like other Logias, and thus he feels the pain of those attacks, when he is attacked, far more seriously (his power is activated at that point and theyre automatically pulled into his body) I remember going down the rabbit hole of black holes and gravity back in the day. Basically yeah, you were right, as you approach a body with INTENSE gravity, like neutron stars or black holes, the increase of the degree of gravity is so extreme that you're literally thinned out and stretched. So if a rocketship was heading straight for a black hole the nose of the ship would thin out and stretch before the rest of the ship cause the gravity is far more extreme at the area of the nose than at the area of the back. There's really really great videos out there explaining it far better than I lol

So Haylo is correct about the effect of 'spaghettification' when it comes to black holes (this is just about the theory, nothing OP related). The wikipedia article does a good job on explaining it, but basically: the closer something is to the event horizon of a black hole (the visible 'surface' of a black hole), the stronger the gravitational pull is. So if you fall into a black hole feet first, your feet will experience greater gravity SOONER than the top of your head. So as you continue to fall towards the event horizon, your feet get pulled harder than your head would. So you would be stretched out gradually. I'll leave alone all the other things this can get into (outside observer versus the person falling into the black hole themselves or the effects of how time will change relatively to the person falling into the black hole) but it's all so cool and fun and I love this stuff...

I agree with you guys on what makes Blackbeard so scary - I feel like he's basically a dark mirror of Luffy. He's self-assured, most often smiling, even in battle, and his dream is to become king of the pirates. I think that's why Luffy was so stone-faced when he first met Blackbeard in Jaya. Even tho BB was defending Luffy with his "dreams don't ever end" line, Luffy didn't smile or thank him, he just kinda stared him down and walked away, which is weird for Luffy. My guess is Luffy inherently recognized that because of his ambition and belief in dreams, this guy will become an obstacle, and not one who can be pushed aside with a simple fight. "Game recognizes game", essentially.

BTW for the apology, it's not explicitly stated, but it's very much implied that Zoro (and maybe even Luffy) actually could hear Usopp when he was ranting before the apology. But they chose to ignore it because like they said before, "Unless the first thing Usopp says is an apology, he can't rejoin the gang." So they compromised and acted like the first thing they actually heard was the apology.

I love love love that Zoro is the one to insist that Usopp needs to apologize. It’s another amazing vice captain moment for him, and he’s completely right. Usopp messed up, bad, and even if we forgive him, he needed to own up to it first. Water 7 is the saga that Luffy and Zoro first truly understand what it means to lead a crew. We also know for sure that Zoro was really nervous he’d have to hold to his promise, because he’s covered in sweat and breaks out in a big smile when Usopp finally says he’s sorry.
