This show is so moving. 😭💙
Such a beautiful story... it somehow tugs at the deepest parts of our heartstrings and we just can't get enough. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us and we'll see you Thursday for the next one. Happy Holidays! Have a wonderful week!

I dont know why and how but the end of Frieren's dream always makes me choke up 😭Himmel smiling while turning to her in slowmo and the melody, its like she's realizing the emotions he made her feel and how he's gone now...

Let them stick to One Piece and not both. Naruto needs to be another main show to focus on. I prefer Naruto out of the two, but that would be overkill if they ever did both.

The way the animation translates the tender way Stoltz handles Stark is so good, the lingering on Stark’s crying face from Stoltz POV hit so hard, especially when you have siblings—that’s the last memory he has of his little brother, he knew Stark didn’t necessarily want to run and leave his brother behind, the certainty of their love for each other. Even in the production of the anime/story in general, the little moments are incredibly heavy while the fights/the adrenaline is extremely fast, as Kiss said, “it’s too easy,” because once it’s dealt with, it fades—while the connection with each other and their environment lasts. I was right there with you, even though I’ve watched the eps before, just seeing glimpses and remembering makes me tear up too! Thank u for this heartfelt reaction and merry xmas! 💖

I don't think they'd want two massive shows at the same time. They won't catch up to One Piece before 2027

If haylo & kiss start naruto in like a 1 - 2 months from now, they will finish it around the time they catch up to present one piece. 2 of the best animes back to back sounds awesome.

Ron Aflalo

i don't think so, but not 100% sure.

MrMegaman94

did they watch naruto?

This show is so well written, and the heart string pulls gets me every time as well

Another beautiful episode. After all the fightin' and a-fussin' it's nice to just settle down and celebrate a birthday with friends. I do love the way this anime seems to show the fighting as something they do, and do extremely well, when they have to but the main focus seems to be on the relationships and the simple human moments enjoyed with friends. Most other animes with such incredible fight animation put all the emphasis on the fighting and the human interactions between are just people being annoyed that there's nothing to fight at the moment lol. I love an anime that's all about those moments. Little Stark probably felt relief when his brother told him to run. The fact Stark was still there at that point shows his bravery, but feeling glad that he had been given permission not to have to throw his life away fighting demons is probably where his guilt and his belief that he is a coward come from. He remembers *what* he did but the feelings of guilt and cowardice override the memory of *why* he did it. I know the feeling too well. It's not a nice one, and it's really got a powerful grip on Stark if he still feels like that after everything he's accomplished already on this journey. Childhood trauma's a tough pit to climb out of sometimes, but he'll do it I'm sure. Maybe Fern could throw him a ladder instead of just calling him a perv for no reason lol

This is the episode that solidified it in my mind that this anime is going to be up there as one of the greats

you beat me to it! haha

The party that defeated the Demon King and saved the world: A "corrupt" priest A "cowardly" warrior A "disgraceful" mage And a "fake" hero This was one of my favorite episodes from this season. Something about a loving older sibling making a sacrifice for their younger sibling just hits different. Fitting that I got to rewatch this episode with you on Christmas Eve. I think the chief of the village they visited was shaking when she was talking to Frieren because she was on her tippy toes to make herself seem taller LOL.

Despite being a "not important" episode, it's probably my favorite. Both halfs are good, but the second half just absolutely has me crying every time. Seeing how kind of a person Stark is during the whole day and then the flashback with his brother? That man had like 30 seconds screen time, but he's my fave character. I even started calling all my RPG protagonists "Stolz" to honor him (which is funny, because I'm German) Btw, Stolz = to be proud OR pride (and I think it's an important distinction for interpretation of his character)

the way Haylo tears up while summarizing the episode was so precious. It feels relatable because those episode always make me cry, too. But in a good way so i don't mind. ☺️

MrMegaman94

Stark’s backstory always gets me😢

This episode was great. The Hero party were just people, doing their best to save the world. It's such a good message, because all of us can do good ❤️ And I know what you mean, I was a mess with these episodes too 😭

Timeismana

crying again everytimmeee😭😭

Merry Christmas ⭐️ New German vocab: Stoltz (Stark's brother; actually spelled "Stolz") = proud I really like this one, because it both implies that their father was more proud of Stoltz, but also that Stoltz was always proud of his little brother, no matter what their father thought

Snowman9712

Merry christmas guys🎅🏻🎄
