Oda loves using weird powers that would look silly in any other anime! I mean, the main character is a rubber man, how weird of a super power is that for an MC?! Most DF in the series are so creative and really unique!

Cool because he's been beaten up within an inch of his life and it's satisfying to watch him just yeet this man but also scary because he clearly isn't in control and doesn't recognize friend or foe and he's headed to where everyone else is

When Nami says to Kalifa something like "Wow I wish I had you as an intern... wait what am I a 40 year old business man?" that kind of hits different now...

2024-12-13 18:57:16 +0000 UTCAs you may have noted with the episode number, there was a break between seeing Chopper's Monster Point and the next non-filler episode. Viewers at the time had to wait 3 weeks before seeing what would happen next. One Piece was almost as cruel as Lucci at the time.

It’s up there with Hulk smashing Loki in avengers in terms of pure disrespect. “Puny assassin…”
