I don't think the second intro is spoilery, because when you watch the anime for the first time you have no frame of reference. None of the stuff you see really means anything until you've watched the relevant episodes. When I watched it for the first time I certainly didn't feel like it spoiled anything for me.

2024-12-14 16:19:36 +0000 UTCJust got to watch it now Only new German word I spotted was the city's name "Waal" - (supposed to be "Wahl" according to German subtitles) meaning "choice". Also I like how the names actually have more meanings behind them - such as "Fern" (distant/far) shows not only her personality (kind of being distant), but also her battle style (Fernkampf = ranged combat) or Stark (strong) just being strong. Also just noted they are in the "Riegel" canyon - which I translated to latch or bar. Here it's basically the latch preventing people from crossing to the north and they had to go to "Wahl" (choice) to get the option to continue (though ironically Frieren didn't get a choice in the end xD)

2024-12-10 21:16:38 +0000 UTCI kinda feel like it's a mixed combination of the representation: Frieren herself is the representation of Himmel here, wanting to help the others and geting to know them and being the party leader. Frieren came from our favorite corrupt priest, but she's also the job replacement of Frieren. Start is a representative of eisen as a warrior, but he's the people's person too like himmel, and they all enjoy their sweets and shenanegans like our priest. I'm sure our corrupt priest could have a more dedicated representative but that's not fully a 1:1... The only thing i have been noticing is that frieren has become less like frieren and more like himmel.

Granted I'd love to see your reaction to it lol. Definitely don't skip the end credits, though.
