I only know two of the offered anime. Spy Family is the same length as JJK, 2 seasons and a movie, so that only leaves Frieren as "something shorter" for me to vote for. Luckily Frieren is my favourite television series of all time so I'd be voting for that anway. Spy x Family is great but I think it's a good follow-up for Frieren anyway. They both have the same main actress, btw.

Frieren but some of these comments also mention Haikyu and I'm all for that. Those two series are two of my favorite modern anime. But SpyxFamily is very cute too. And Mob Psycho is good too. Tbh all three of these are great shows. But Frieren beats all of them because that's the only one out of these three that hits me in the heart.

Having watched it in both multiple times its actually about as based as it can be, typically im a straight sub person, but I enjoyed MP100 waaaay more on a rewatch in Dub than I was expecting to. The comedy comes across odd in the Sub.

as someone who has seen both you're in for a HUGE treat with Frieren it is such a fantastic show. I initially watched it out of spite because I was so tired of hearing everyone talk about it when it first came out. now I can't get enough of it and even started the manga for it. Its truly amazing and I hope you enjoy it.

One of my favorites. Unfortunately, it’s very niche in the west. My top favorites are Hikaru no Go, Major, Natsume Yuujinchou, and Chihayafuru, in no particular order. March Comes in Like a Lion and Mushishi are barely a step down from those for me. All rather niche for reactors and the west, but at the end it’s about the views, money, and not upsetting the reactor’s fans. I’ve seen some smaller reactors get away with watching those, because they have nothing to lose. Not Major though, no one has reacted to it.

I’d suggest taking your time with Frieren instead of rushing through. Certain parts, like the first four episodes and some sections in the second half, are best watched closer together, but watching one episode a week really lets the story breathe. Meanwhile, you could start Mob Psycho 100, which is also a fantastic show. Between the two, it’s probably the one that’s better suited for binging. Both shows are unique and hard to compare to anything else, and I don’t want to spoil the experience by alluding to themes and mood, but I love them both so, so much. I hope you find them as engaging as I do!

SpyxFamily should be the right choice imo, While Mob and Frieren both are really top tier show, Mob is very wholesome but again got curses/ghost genre in it and Frieren is an adventure one which is somewhat like One piece, Meeting new characters and villages. Spyxfamily on other hand is really different from anything you watched before while being very light and good comedy
