If you have something he wants, he will badger you over it, but generally prefers to use a middleman to do it for him.

As he is always doing something new and interesting. Or at least he will be if the Forge is moving again.

2025-03-19 02:38:15 +0000 UTCHmm, I feel like this could be a good thing. From my understanding, Mora is nothing if not FAIR. He is very much a "You scratch my back, I'll scratch your's." Kind of god. Knowledge for Knowledge, Favor for Favor. Sometimes its not even good Knowledge that he accepts, as he sees all Knowledge as valuable. He will give you the secrets of the universe, in exchange for a brand new Sweet Roll recipe. And Owen just did him a HUGE favor, a whole new world of knowledge, a new reality to explore and learn about. He might be in Owen's corner, for his entire LIFE for this alone. As long as Owen largely doesn't interfere with Mora's own agenda, he will be content. And the FORGE brought him here. As far as I am aware, the forge itself will not actively do anything to harm him. It would be a shitty super power if it did. So he should be safe for the most part.

Mora could pretty much do anything he wanted to Owen with absolutely no repercussions due to how powerful they are and if the book had allowed Mora to actively walk Planetos? Then they’re all fucked. The daedric lords keep each other in check but with nothing of their power level to stop him - what’s stopping Mora to do whatever he wants?

2025-03-18 18:21:34 +0000 UTCYeah about what I truly expected. Suddenly you’ve brought in a Daedric Prince now and I truly don’t know where you’re going to go with this. You’ve exposed in this chapter that Owen has awakened the deities of the world and that he basically stands no chance against them, but you’ve also nerfed Owen and the forge itself. Perhaps you have a general plan, perhaps not. But at the rate you’re pulling new abilities from the forge, unless you rig the selection and choose what you want him to receive, he honestly shouldn’t survive.

My issue is that you were just talking a dozen chapters ago that the MC is growing too quickly so you slowed down the stuff he got from the Celestial Forge. Now you suddenly increased his enemies and their power by like a factor of ten? Choose. Either his power slows down so the regular plot can still be a thing or everything speeds up to catch up. Right now it’s just an unnecessary nerf with how dangerous his enemies are. Story has currently dropped far below what I had liked in the earlier chapters. Really doesn’t help that it seems to be a single-pairing…
