I'm trying something slightly different and a little more informal for this month, so there's no official 'event' page - just turn...

πŸ§‘β€πŸ« May Workshop Topic Requests

Hey! πŸ‘‹

Its time to start taking requests for what you'd like to see covered in next month's workshop.

I've yet to finalise a date - I'll have more info on that soon - but for now, drop a comment below to let me know if there's anything you'd like to learn about πŸ’¬

The last 2 workshops have been Max For Live focused, so it could be good to switch it up and focus on something more inside of Live (I have a few ideas there) but I'm open to anything.

I look forward to ...

Console EQ πŸŽ›οΈ

Hey everyone, here's a new(ish) one for ya.

Console EQ gives you an analog mixing workflow inside Ableton Live. Modelled on a classic analog channel strip, Console EQ intentionally limits your choices while still being flexible enough for most situations. It features 4 bands of EQ plus high and lowpass filters with an analog saturation stage to top it all off with some warmth and colour.

It’s not analog; it's better.

I'll be releasing this one officially...

Happy Live 12 Day! πŸŽ‰

Today is the day - Live 12 is officially out!

If you managed to get on the Beta and have been trying it out, it'll feel great to finally be using the official release. If you didn't manage to get on the Beta and have been waiting patiently for this day, well, then I'm a little jealous of all the fun you're about to have trying everything out for the first time πŸ’ƒ

New Year, New Tools 🌈

Hey everyone, Happy New Year! I hope you all had a good holiday season and are ready for the year ahead 🌈

Over the break, I've been working on my music-making setup. My toolset was feeling a little sprawling and disorganised - plugins I'd bought and used once, or tools that I hadn't mastered and I'd load up and flip through a few presets and never go anywhere with them 😡 Every time I sat down to make music I felt like I had too many choices and none of them was actually that great...

10 More Analog Obsession Wrappers

Hey everyone, some new/updated wrappers for you! πŸ”Œ

This is a pretty sizeable update to the collection of Analog Obsession wrappers I released a while back. There are 10 new wrappers that cover preamps, compressors and EQs as well as some bugfixes to the 5 that were already released.

I've been using them a bunch myself and they really bring a great analog character to whatever you run through them. Some personal favourites are KONSOL (preamp), VariMoon (compressor) and TREQ (EQ)...

Analog Obsession Wrappers

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well πŸ™Œ

Here's another new thing for you - Max wrappers for a handful of Analog Obsession plugins! πŸ”Œ

If you can't tell I'm on a bit of a wrapper kick lately πŸ˜— I've been adding some plugins to my music making setup, but my sensibilities just won't let me work with skeuomorphic interfaces. Wrappers let me get the sound quality of some fantastic plugins, but with the experience of working with native Live devices - no annoying p...
