This is a short chapter, only 2k words. Migraine all day till i took some meds. Hate these things. Since i turned 25, damn things started up. Anyway, its also setting up the age old Ironborn question so there's that.
Go back to your ASOIAF history. Dig DEEP into the lore. And ask the question. Do the Ironborn deserve to live or not? That i leave to you.

Honestly you could just pull an Assyrian and have them forcibly resettle what remains of the Ironborn to different areas throughout Westeros. That way you preserve the people but break them apart enough that they can't maintain a cohesive cultural identity down the generations. Then you can just set up a trading post in the Iron Islands.

2025-02-17 13:42:59 +0000 UTCI would consider that there are slaves not half as broken and devoted as the Unsullied likely manning the oars and other duties on the ships of the slaver. Jon and Owen keep saying “no prisoners” but it should really be addressed.

2025-02-17 13:24:30 +0000 UTCI would argue that there are problematic Ironborn that need to be destroyed and those that can be brought into the future. Rodrik "the reader" Harlaw for example. Uproot and replace houses not willing to change, install a mainlander Lord Paramount, and go from there. Their drowned priests are one of the biggest problems and would need to be watched carefully.
