Hey I took a sick day to read your story today. Keen for it to continue. Love it so far, and waiting to see how it all continues. Just some thoughts: - Focus maybe more on people Beyond-The-Wall - create a couple settlements beyond to station people or upgrade Hardholme - Start exploring deep sea and what has sunk to the bottom to find all manner of surprises - could even relate to Starks who went West and never returned - What if you sent an exploration fleet out West and maybe even find descendants - Explore other continents, if not, use the upgraded Stark and Northern forces to begin fighting against slavery - Essos slowly becomes a colony of the North - Bring in fantastical elements through the Celestial Forge like an enhanced world tree seedly you can mix in with the Weirwood or a manner for Dwarves and Elves to exist maybe? Somewhere like Ulthos or Sothoryos. - Personal view of Northern Lords and what the changes have done for them so far - this is something I want to see, especially for Mormonts and Northern Houses like Frost, Amber, Greenwood and others you explain still exist. - Discovery of certain magical beings and creatures native to the world but hidden or obscured to the point they could only be discovered by the steamwalkers. - TRAINS! Or better transportation across the North. - Show the development of its artistic and cultural side as music, artwork, and other such things become more prominent as wealth and prosperity increases. I cannot think of anything else but focus on the end goal of what you wish to see created and make sure you remain in sight of that.
