I wasn't at work today so it was back to typing on my phone. sorry for the wait. work Appraisal was ok but tiring, so wasn't at my A-game when writing, sorry.
This chapter was a bit of filler and preparation as chapter 27 is the southern and royal visit finally. Time skip of 2 months as the north has prepared for its visitors.

Roose did that shit cuz he knows how Ned will react but when Rickard was in power he better no try. Owen needs to show Ned that everyone is playing by different rules, if Ur not cheating your not trying hard enough. Honor works for small folk but for nobles the Game and the white walkers coming, pure pragmatism and being ready for anything is what is needed. I always thought why Ned never got a direwolf, because he was not one and everything he taught tis children especially honor got them killed and manipulated π€¦πΏββοΈπ€¦πΏββοΈπ€¦πΏββοΈ. So stronger, faster than any regular planets human. As in I can be on you in a minute and snap your neck before you notice or the mountain hits you and you wonder why an insect tried hitting you lol Something like that. That and just overall better health, beauty etc.

2025-01-17 19:57:19 +0000 UTCI really hope that Owen will put his feet down and give nothing to the south, the simplest way of doing that is speaking in private to Ned that if he orders him to build anything he will simply act like he didn't hear it, the best way is to not give Ned a choice if he tries to bend over to the south, if they want anything just give them more gold and food, maybe a weapon for Robert and the shittiest possible glasshouses that don't have any special effects, they can't really ask for more given that Ned really doesn't owes them anything.

Faster and stronger is probably a given but did it affect their minds too? Lack of need for sleep and eating? Better magic circuits etc.
