Luffy just brings hope to anyone he comes across even if he don't realize it sometimes

xXZephyrus2002Xx

After all these years and so many episodes this is still my favorite intro song. I’ll sometimes listen to it while getting ready for your videos just to get pumped. Hope all is well. Bon Voyage!

Big Dog Jake

Must have missed that, but good to hear!

Jakob

I believe they've confirmed on a previous video that they'll watch it due to all the suggestions :)

Sankai

I've previously mentioned that in the manga there are cover stories about character's we've met in the past. The first two (Buggy's adventure to get back his body parts and Coby & Helmeppo's training with Garp) have been included in the anime - however as far as I know all the other's haven't. Sometimes these stories do have a small impact on the understanding of the story - such as the third one (Jango's Danse Paradise), which was the story about how Jango got to meet Fullbody - the outcome was shown at the end of Alabasta with the introduction of Hina :) With a quick google search I've found a redit post with the compilations linked on imgur - however, I consider even the titles kind of spoilery (especially one of the later ones) For my part I'd love to see you react to these and I believe that it could also be fun for you to see what some side character's have been up to - even though it's kind of a weird pacing. But to be absolutely sure to avoid spoilers, I'd suggest to get someone to check it before you read through them. Do you have a mod or something who could go through them?

Sankai

y, it's kinda boring but unfortunaly canon. :/

MrMegaman94

Haylo and her comment about Sanji and how much has he drank 🀣 that reaction was so visceral. That's what I'm here for πŸ˜‚

Jake from SF

If that the case, I'll be back at Ep 226.

EgregiousGrievous

they aren’t going to skip canon material

ahn sohee α₯«α‘

The foreshadowing in this episode is so powerful and no one who watch the episode years ago even knew. Oda will always be the master of foreshadowing, greater than GRRM. A good arc is closing but a great one is coming. Also skip the Davy Back arc. I can't watch it again.

EgregiousGrievous

"We're never gonna stop saying it's so good" That right there is what One Piece is. It hooks you in from the beginning and just takes you for a wild ride. I'm sure you've heard and just can't believe that it just keeps getting better.

Shaun Hudson

The caliber of the foreshadowing in these two episodes is art from another dimension by Goda...

PoPo

by the way, how are we feeling about next arc? I won't spoil anything, and skypiea hasn't ended quite yet, obviously, but the next arc is non-canon filler. However, it is one of the best standalone stories in the series, and it is a greatly paced arc with some really fun gags and actually really enjoyable anime-only characters. It's a fun time for the cast to just play off of each other before more story focused and perhaps heavier stuff later, so I would recommend watching it, but it is also not necessary. The common consensus seems to be that the filler arc is actually a great One Piece arc, and that the following shorter arc, that is canon, is not as good, but I can't say for sure if that's actually true. I think you guys would enjoy it, but that's just my opinion!

Jakob

Oh my Luffy... what a wholesome episode! XD Btw when Enel was talking about Endless Vearth for the first time there was a glimpse of the moon behind the horizon, hinting at his goal.

Wojciechu

I'm excited to hear you guys's thoughts after reading the cover story. Excited for next drop. Have a great day guys!

Ben Asay

Well, Enel was right when he said that the battle would be over the next time the bell rings 🀣🀣🀣 Always satisfying to see such an evil antagonist get the business end of Luffy's fist or foot (golden style this time 😎). So, we've seen that mantra is not infallible throughout the Skypiea arc. First, it needs absolute concentration, so, if your emotions are unstable, it will fail. Second, ricochet attacks aren't subject to mantra's rules as there is no way to tell where the attacks are coming from due to the random nature of the attacks. And finally, if the attack is too fast, it doesn't matter if you can see the attack coming as your body and reflexes will be too slow to dodge it. So, Luffy and the others (mostly Luffy lol) have proven that mantra is not impossible to overcome. I always love seeing Luffy's joyful shadow spread across the sky 😁😁😁

Ilsuk Yang

It's insane that anyone would skip any arc. If you're consuming a story and feel the need to skip sections of it, you probably don't even like the story and shouldn't bother.

Freeofgreed

So true. However, in our real world, 90% of lightning strike victims survives. So my teory is, in the one piece world, the people are stronger than typical humans, so they can survive almost 100%, it but just gets them knocked out.

harveymak76

During my 1st watch of Skypia I didn't notice that Oda gave the Skypian's that hair style to show that they are 'alien' to the sky. Human's don't belong in the sky is shown the entire time but Oda gives the Skypian's wings, and you don't ever consider it after that. Creatures with wings belong in the sky so don't even think about it.

Fold

They just have to wait till a certain point to watch them, spoilers at the beginning of every episode is crazy.

Fold

Such a good arc! Can't wait for you to get to my other favorites (some may take years to arrive lol). For openings/intros, just remember that a good rule of thumb now is to wait about 20 episodes after it's first released, and then watch it. The next new one has spoilers for two arcs, so be extra careful!

The Goto Guy

So the manga, in front of chapters, have one off pages that are called cover pages, and Oda often turns them into 1 page per chapter stories. Most of these cover stories arent adapted for the most part with only the diary of Koby-Meppo and Buggy's Crew Adventure being adapted before Loguetown. That being said Enel's Great Space Operations is one of these cover stories that were never adapted. The cover story ended in the chapter that adapts episode 369 to play it safe with spoilers.

Rav

It's impossible to stop your eyes from watering when "To The Grand Line" kicks in. This arc is probably the most underrated of all OP arcs, it does get a bit stretched from time to time, but at the same time it's hilarious, sad, epic, and everything you'll ever want from an OP arc.

Mellorine

If you do a further deep-dive into Noland's life, you can really define him as a tragic parallel to Roger. Both were very free-spirited and deemed far stronger than typical adventurers, shown throughout all the battles we've heard about and seen so far. Both went down in history by their association with legendary treasures/discoveries, yet they both returned with zero evidence. The tragedy falls on their executions; Roger was historically revered and ignited a new era, where Noland was deemed a liar and made to be lesser-than. Upon their deaths, one laughed and the other cried. Roger knew where the One Piece was, Noland didn't know his way back to Shandora. Oda really knows how to write a damn good story with such solid literary foundations. There are boundless levels to his writing, it all really comes down to how far down the rabbit hole you want to go.

Sewer Lord

you guys be surprised how many people skipped this arc smh

Zaatsuyo

Always love the Shadow!

Roboton

NEVER apologize for wanting to watch the intros. Especially the next 2 because they're both fire lol.

Freeofgreed

This arc is truly amazing. And I think it's a testament to the quality of the series as a whole, that for a lot of people this arc isn't even in most people's top 5 arcs. It gets so much better. Greatest piece of fiction ever imo.

Jon

The edited version is not up. Nevermind. Saw your note.
