2024-08-30 07:07:51 +0000 UTCYeah the magic/power system is a bit complex in this show, even compared to many other anime, but when you figure it out it's really satisfying, and especially when new stuff comes up, youll automatically understand how to fit it into the system, which is why im so curious as to how far you guys've recorded cause it's likely that you understand so much more by now. It was a small scene but I enjoyed it when the Zenin clan leader said something to the effect of "Im going to give you trials befitting it" - i.e. that Maki wanted to become the clan leader. It was a huge sign of respect honestly - it's not like he said something in opposition like 'youll never be clan leader...etc', but it's almost like he wants to prepare her by putting her through the ringer, cause surely clan leader is the hardest job. Anyway, again, fantastic reaction, thank God you guys have each other, really fortunate to have an amazing sibling relationship

2024-08-27 16:18:30 +0000 UTCI knew this one was gonna hit hard for you both and I still teared up watching haha. The power system is weird for JJK. Weird as in overly complicated sometimes. I had to go back and keep rewatching some scenes to grasp most of it so don't feel bad. As first time watchers you're doing better than most. Also heavenly pacts aren't placed by anyone. They are placed on the baby when they're born just like how your innate talent/techniques are defined at birth. It's just a rare occurrence. Great reaction!

Most of the time, it's not really necessary to understand for the wider plot. So it's mostly just lore for people like me who care about those sorts of things lol.
