2024-08-23 01:23:27 +0000 UTCThey should start watching it at episode 20. I understand how you feel because I feel like the openings and closings add so much to the show, as well. I encouraged them to watch the first opening despite the Junpei red herring spoiler, and for the most part JJK ops do a good job of not spoiling. However, this opening is a lot more blatant, for instance it shows Panda's gorilla form and there's one more spoiler that pretty obviously spoils something from the next couple episodes. I said they were mild spoilers, but wanted them to make their own decision about whether to watch it or not. It's not ideal, but they'll still get to see it for five episodes, at least. Most reactors skip ops/eds entirely, because they are wary of spoilers. At least this way they can know it's safe to watch all the others from the beginning.

2024-08-22 22:34:37 +0000 UTCI dont think you can get the full plot from the opening but it might make you look forward to something you otherwise wouldnt have know therefore changing how you react to the show. And in a reactors case this is important to the content you make. So i think its not awful to skip some but in many shows the OP is inserted to add effect. So if a reactor doesnt know what the OP sorta sounds like maybe it makes some moments hit less? (Not that i can recall them inserting this OP but they certainly do for other openings in this show and im concerned) A channel can choose what to watch and not, based on their audiences suggestion but as a general rule for individual enjoyment i feel its important to imprint your first time emotions surrounding the show to the opening. Weither the song is inserted or not, I think watching any OP for a show you enjoy has massive value which is hard to weigh/forsee without perspective. I appreciate you interacting, No battle is lost while we still fight BROZA!!

The same 5 people keep crying about spoilers and pray the holy trinity hoping every reactor skips every OP/ED in existence, when openings are meant to be watched. They are part of the show, the studio spent $50k and took 2 months to polish the intro frame by frame, but I guess let's just skip it right guys? Obviously if the opening shows a clear big spoiler, you might skip it until you get past the episode. BUT most spoilers are spoilers because you are rewatching the show. You have all the context and know what happened. To first watchers this is just a normal scene, you see some new characters, cool scenes and a good song, you are hyped up. You do not deduce the entire plot from this 5 second scene. I never brought this up because this is a lost battle. Just skip them all, more power to you, it's okay. Your loss though

While I think its ok to skip over ones that may reveal plot points, i think it works against you in some ways which i feel were worth bringing up in case it hasn't been considered. Mainly I think hearing the opening so much helps you solidify how you might feel about the show. In this case I feel it also helps with emotional recall years down the line when listening to the openings out of context. Big Fan, Love you guys <3 (MORE JJK!)

I don't know how far you guys are at but Heavenly pacts will be touched on in future episodes. I really love the complexity of their 'magic/power system' for lack of a better term.
