It was tense for a bit. Then one day we all got put in the same barracks and they brought a bunch of bottles of alcohol. We all got piss drunk and forgot we were from separate countries. Just a bunch of dumb grunts who got drunk together and had a grand ol time! Still think about em to this day

Not only the themes, but its delivery suited for mature audience, almost feels like a seinen anime. I'll recommend you both shows like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul (prequel to Breaking Bad), Mr Robot and Arcane S2 (you both watched Arcane S1).

There's also stuff with final stretch that bothered people, few of them bothered me as well but it is what it is and I still think the overall journey was excellent.

Channels that have simlar mindsets to the girls and similar taste also expressed that the second season was also extremely confusing and inconsistent and lost them interest. and honestly, as much as some of the fights were great... i tend to agree that it got overhyped.

Me personally: there were things towards the end that bothered me and left a bitter taste, but overall it's still a masterpiece. No comparison to Game of Thrones, which quickly became the peak in all of TV, but then took a nosedive and crash landed in the final two or three seasons.

This scene is where eren is starting to go crazy and its why he is my favourite mc. You can see him going through stages. He is in denial and grabbing on to anything he can, he goes through contradicting explanations for his actions rather than acknowledge his situation, poor thing is Just a puppet. Despite ALL OF THAT, even with all the strings dragging him down to hell, eren still managed to muscle out a satisfactory outcome for him. A slave to fate/ymir/parasyte/devil whatever and he still forced a compromise. The freedom fighter fought till the very end. Godspeed eren

It’s desperation, it’s having the knowledge that explicitly informed Eren that humanity only responds better to a violent calamity, inducing a rude awakening. Being idealistic and hopeful was never AOT’s destiny, neither is our world. He was referring to what he experienced from touching Historia’s hand. He’s seen all of it, and it’s quite downcast and sorrowful to see him taking the time to enjoy a drink with everyone knowing what he knows. The last two episodes are going to test your resilience, and try your enduring limbic system. Im curious what the last 2 episodes will do to you.
