I’ve always thought the same. Her clear priority is always to protect Eren so she absolutely holds a grudge against Levi for the courtroom beat down, even though it was to save Eren. She basically used Historia for her own personal beef with Levi since she can’t hit him herself.

You can't just force her to accept that role after she's broken free of her past of sacrificing herself for others". I guess Mikasa was not happy with how blunt Levi was being towards her.

Well because Levi ordered her, per Erwin's orders, to be queen. This was after she made the vow to be true to herself and after they made it back to the Orvud District with Eren. Later in that scene, in 3x8, Historia enters the room where Erwin, Hange, Levi and the Levi squad are dicussing the battle plans to take down the abnormal Ress titan. In that scene Mikasa turns to her and says, "When you're queen you can punch that runt in the face". Implying that Mikasa didn't like that Levi tried to force Historia to accept the title of queen even though Historia said it was her choice. Also another reason why she punched Levi is to prove that she could do it because she is after all the queen now. So its part of the perks of the job I guess? 😜

I was wondering if "Frieren" was going to be picked up soon? Pretty popular series and getting close to the end of the first season, Maybe after haunting of hill house? 2024-03-13 13:30:25 +0000 UTCTaken a break from AoT content for a few weeks but nothing like this arc to bring me back :) Isayama has has in the past called this is his favorite chapter in the series, he's said that he "exceeded his own talent level" when writing it. There are a few times throughout the show that it seems to almost come out and just say its thesis statement and 'Friends' is one of those moments.
