My apologies for the lack of output for the past few weeks. Was struggling with some bad art block. But I’m feeling much better now and getting back in the swing of things. 

I did a major rework of the comic I started last year. The script was too long and a bit all over the place. So I decided to stirp it back down to the core idea I started with. At any rate, I hope you guys enjoy seeing this reindeer get a hell of a lot more than he bargained for!

The sculpture is done at last. I don't think I’ve ever spent this much time on a single piece before.

Queen on the throne v2 WIP

I kind of fell down the rabbit hole working on this sculpture. It started with me getting and learning how to use an airbrush. Before I knew it I was ordering a resin 3d printer and trying to recreate the methods used by renaissance artist to create realistic drapery.

Files are in the attachments. You will need to print 8 of the pins. Also the blade will need to be trimmed down slightly to make it fit in place. I’ve been filming the assembly process and plan on putting it out when the project is finished.

I’m waiting on some tools to arrive for sanding and painting. My plan is to polish it and paint it with a marble texture

“1rst century Roman copy of a now lost Greek original. Depicts an unidentified (Greek?) ruler with who is assumed to be her lover or concubine. Unearthed near Alexandria in 1799, it is now on display in the museum of Cairo.”

Working to put out a 3d printable version of this soon. Just got to find a way to carefully bring the poly count down so Blender stops crashing every 5 minutes.

The script is finished and I’m making steady progress on the thumbnail pages. The environments ended up being a lot more detailed than I was originally planning.  But my hope is that the heavy atmosphere will add to the intensity of the sex scene.

Some very rough thumbnails for the second scene of the comic. I did these with pen and paper to try and force myself to work faster and be decisive. For whatever reason I feel more comfortable roughing out the whole comic in the form of thumbnails first before starting on finished pages. That way I can see if the whole idea is working or not and make any changes

Sketchbook pages

I’ve been doing a lot of sketching over the past couple weeks. Mostly working out ideas for the comic, but also some one off ideas as well. I’ve also been doing a lot of studies and drawing practice to try and improve as much as possible before doing the final layouts for the upcoming comic pages. 

This has ended up being a much bigger project than I was originally planning.

Drawing patron’s characters on stream

I’ve been streaming a bit lately while working on the comic. I draw a lot better if I do a 1 hour warm up at the start. So why not spend that first hour drawing some patron OCs?
