In some cultures, or households or friendships, a parent or friend or other may disappear for hours, slaving away at the world just to do good by the people they love, but their children will not understand what that person is doign or sacrificing their efforts for, even kids of hard working parents can sometimes feel neglected or unloved or forgotten, when in reality their hard working parents are doing it all for them, but the kids wont get it until they get older and get put into that person's shoes and see the actions from a different perspective.

I'm not gonna dwell much on this compared to the other things happening this season, but I just noticed that Mikasa's headache here wasn't from a concussion or the heat, but it's similar to her other headaches and her trauma and pain and emotions having to deal with eren and how she's questoning eren's actions and going against his constant disappearing acts and constant need to move forward, never stopping, and i love the anime's way of showing her inner struggles and emotional pain without even explicitly saying it, but by showing it when she remembers his transgressions or even good memories. This world is cruel. But it's also beautiful.

Though i completely understand where youre coming from, but its important to remember that because we already know what happens in the story, its easy to see everything as a spoiler. A first-time reader reading this comment will assume that the story didn't end with a definitive resolution to their relationship. Like, if they start thinking, "will they end up together," that possibility has now been eliminated because of the above comment.

Hannes said in ep 1 I believe that he's happy that it's peaceful enough that he and his squad are literally drunk in the middle of the day on duty because they're just not needed for any emergencies. Now he wants to get back to those peaceful days.

Also poor Hannes, the guilt he feels for not saving Eren's mother and now the potential of losing Eren, no wonder the guy almost always drinks. Can't blame a lot of the people who go to the Garrison and Military Police when shit like this happens on a near daily basis.

That’s why he emerged from his titan with the ODM gear to attach to Reiner. During my first watch I was so curious who that other person was lol!
