2024-02-02 15:21:19 +0000 UTCit still facinated me that people cried that this season didn't have as much action or "plot" than the others when they were watching it, especially a certain episode that everyone dubbed as "filler", you know the one. But later on you come to appreciate this season's just been laying out the entire plot of the show right in your face, without you understanding it, and that "filler" episode that everyone hated at the time was the most lore-rich episode that people now absolutely love the most, outside of the obvious "that specific episode" that we're all waiting for. buit definitely top 3 in this season.

2024-01-31 10:56:29 +0000 UTCPersonally I have a soft spot for S3 arc2 (I'm not going to put S4 in the comparison bceause it's own category of ups and lows lol) , but S2 is definitely up there, and I liked it more than season 1 because you can just TASTE the lore and easter eggs creeping up on us, waiting for the mystery to be revealed

Season 2 is RIDDLED with easter eggs for reveals for later, and a lot of it is just casual conversation, the way people talk or interact with eachother, their body movements or even background conversations and flashbacks. You're gonna need to pay attention to all of that but I'm not concerned: Ya'll have been hella intuitive especially this episode in terms of theories. Also I am laughing so hard at the Thanos comment. "Maybe the only way to save the prople was to get genocide half the population" or whatever hailee said. Because I swear at this point when watching this for the first time, I was thinking the exact same thing in terms of "what could be more important to keep as a secret than the safety of the population itself" and that's where my mind went too at the time.... and then I started wondering about the conspiracy behind the conspiracy. Can't wait for the next batch of episodes. And good job on the notebook that you're taking notes in! It will help. And I'm glad you were reminded to watch the OVAs without telling you WHY to watch the OVAs. But glad you caught the name of Ymir from Ilse's notebook. That poor talking titan, he saw that short haired brunette scout (ilse) just wandering alone in the forest and after he specifically took her neck off, it felt like he was guilty or something and put her body in the tree and safeguarded it like a shrine, until levi killed it. It just feels like we're always 2 words away from a reveal and then someone interrupts or stops the reveal from happening. But I'm glad that they didn't leave the comment about the blond haired short girl that hangs around with Ymir too long after sasha loudly stumbled in lol.

I feel like there is a lot of new trails to go down, and new information pops up all the time. Its been fun to listen to your theories and how you guys are processing everything coming in full force! Glad you guys watched the OVAs as well! They add such a layer of depth that I missed on my first time watching the series through, and it feels like I get to watch you guys have an experience I missed out on with that! Can't wait for more!

She was the one that told Krista when they were all joining the scouts that if she was going to cry she should just leave now (here it adds context but it implies she was mean but trying to protect Krista) big ymir fan so i noticed alot more on the re-watch with you ladies
