The little girl was in shock, very understandably. She finally snapped out of it when Sasha dropped her "polite" accent and returned to her original country drawl that came from her upbringing in that region. Sasha is like a saving angel to that girl I bet. Shows up out of nowhere, saves her from the titan, and even speaks like her to boot.

You're not that far off which is crazy. I've also noticed that you watched OVAs up to ep.5 and I'd recommend also watching OVA 6 & 7 episode (they're connected) since they shed a lot of light on a particular girl just before the Female Titan episode on season 1. OVA ep.8 should be watched after the final episodes in season 4...so you're good by watching first seven during or after the season 1 cos' its connected heavily to it.

He speaks such truths and while I totally get Sasha’s POV of not wanting to change or give up the old ways, her dad is wise enough to see sometimes it’s necessary. I loved her so much more (which I didn’t think was possible) after this episode, but to me the standout was her dad. Now comes the long wait until Monday for the next episode. 😭 Hope you guys have a great weekend!
