No one gave me the heads up that AoT was very lore rich and connected And so first watch I binged seasons 1 and 2 and 3 almost in 24 hours back to back and didn't let myself soak it in as much ask needed, thinking it's just Another Anime pass time. I realized my mistake with the s3 cliff hangers and rewatched again and for giving the show the proper respect And paid attention to what I should have been reading into since first time I saw it And I appreciated that more and more because I understood the connections better and motives and got better at recognizing voices and faces the second time Around

I'm interested because I consider myself very well versed in the Easter eggs and random callbacks or foreshadowing and tidbits and I'd like to know if I missed any. Hell I actually foreshadowed the "motive" behind a certain character's actions from last season as early as season 2, just because of something that Pixis said in season 1 as an Easter egg or foreshadowing. But I like to think of it more as an inception of an idea that grew over the seasons

I'm a detective at heart that breaks down every scene and show and i've seen this show almost 70 times now, and I BARELY got to catch 60% of what the show dropped as easter eggs. and I did predict some stuff but only because i had been rewatching older episodes while introducing the show to my younger brother, so i saw some things that clicked after many many MANY episodes. Also, You almost gave me a heart attack when you started typing notes about female titan identity. I thought u were googling "female titan mama" and i was like OH NOT DONT GOOGLE ANYTHING, because many reactors got accidentally spoiled about certain stufff just due to pictures or titles, when they were trying to pick a thumbnail for the youtube video for example: let a moderator pick a picture for you or just use a pic from the show u watched :D Thankfully you weren't googling it haha and good job on writing notes! you will fondly remember those moments when you look back at your predictions per episode!

2024-01-10 07:19:20 +0000 UTCHey sisters, just to clarify one thing around 13:15 : You mentioned that last time and i was hoping someone corrected you since I was busy with work but : Armin's parents were NOT part of the "culling" that they did. That was ONLY his grandfather. In fact, he was being taken care of by his grandfather BECAUSE his parents died BEFORE the events of this show that we've seen so far. All we know about his parents so far is that they were similar to armin in terms of wanting to discover the world, and that they were saying something about taking a hot air balloon maybe or something to go over the walls and GTFO of the city because they were trying to seek adventure outside of the walls while trying to be safe from the grounded beta dumb dumb dumb titans :P ( the ones that dont seem that smart), That is all we have known about them so far, and as for what happened to them or how they died? it has not yet been explicitly explained, if ever at all. All we know is that these venturous souls with armin's intellect and spirit of adventure just died ahead of the show and that's why armin's grandfather, his last surviving relative, took care of armin, and THEN the culling happened where Armin lost his last family member, his grandfather ONLY to the purge that saved the population from starvation, and that's how armin ended up alone with only mikasa and eren. And the book that armin got that he kept baiting eren into wanting to discover the world of sands and, to quote him, see the sea? that book was probably belonging to one of his family members, we dont know explicitly who, just that his grandfather was HIDING it and armin found it in a secret stash that he probably should not have been poking around to find, and that's where armin told us the story about his parents when he was talking to eren. I think it was a flashback when eren saved armin from that titan that we call Santa Titan, that almost ate him. I figured i'd clarify that since this is not a spoiler but a clarification from something stated before, but it's something that will make you miss other details if you're not actively remembering correctly, and not remembering what we were told wrongfully :) But that is all, happy new year btw!

Not just because you guys are super entertaining to watch and have great personalities, but you actually remember the small details when explaining your theories so even if you're wrong, you at least tried to reason why you thought that way and didn't just pluck it from thin air. Very few reactors actually decompress their thoughts after a reaction and theorise, most just recap what they saw. Keep it up you two, loving the content.
