Not a spoiler (much?) because it's kinda been laid in front of you and many reactors have realized this by now too, and I have not seen anything past this anime's last episode, so it's speculation on my end: So now that you know Genya's secret. Pay attention to the new recruits' specific skills: - Tanjiro: Sense of Smell - Zenitsu: Sense of Hearing - Inosuke: Sense of Touch (spacial awareness, body endurance, need his shirt off to "sense" where daki's belt was hiding and have his body not covered or isolating him from feeling with it) - and now Genya: Sense of Taste (Eating demons to get stronger) If you think about the 5 senses of a human body, that leaves the Sense of Sight... Now think back at the newer recruits from the initiation ceremony, do you recall someone specific that is constantly staring into nothing, i dunno, maybe someone who can see if Tanjiro cheated or not when he flipped a coin flip really really high from a distance? Yup ;) I'll let you draw your own conclusions from here if my theory about Kanao makes sense, since it's more of a fun fact than lore spoiler. And one can argue that there are 6 senses to humans, the 6th one being a spiritual or "bond/connection" with the surroundings and other humans, i forgot the name for it, but it's an actual thing, and that can arguably be Nezuko with that Sense and while I've only seen up to what YOU have seen, Nezuko has been constantly dropping in and out of Tanjiro's mind DMs with words of encouragement, and her entire existence as a demon is a strong will power to maintain social interactions with other humans and sees the bond she has with other humans, and that humans and social groups are what keep her sane and not give in to demonic temptations. And since you've already seen last episode in the other post, this could also be represented in her need to adapt to spiritually and physically to her "connections to the world", a deep need to stay as human as possible, not threatening to other humans (baby mode?), and so on... I just thought i'd share this tid bit of something i've seen so far in the show, whether it's true or not? not sure, we'll see!

2023-11-20 20:06:41 +0000 UTCthis is just a personal theory but what if the Demon's Crest means that the person has fraction of Demon's blood in them but their Strong Human Willingness/Spirit keeps them Human 95% of the time but when the time comes they are able to use/tap into the Demon powers/strength they possess in their blood. 🤔 but like i said it's just a Personal theory

She learned Flame Breathing but it didn't suit her completely so she wasn't able to fully utilize it.....SO SHE LITERALLY INVENTED HER OWN BREATHING STYLE! Beauty, brawn and brains.
