A little preview I edited for some comic pages. I really like telling stories without dialogue so I made this edit mostly just for myself. I’m always conflicted when I have to put words over the images. I feel like dialogue is a little more vulnerable, but It’s about time my characters say more words and explain more things!
Also, I blame Radiohead for making this edit wayyyy more serious.

Thank you so much for your support this past month!
This summer has been particularly hard for me creatively/mentally so i’ve been scribbling more traditionally to help push through it. My pen doodles are very messy and dont feel as presentable, but my little sketchbook means a lot to me so I might post a little walkthrough soon.
In the mean time, have these recent digital sketches.

My sketchbook is a sanctuary of scribbles. I usually only draw with pen and it’s usually hard to decipher, but it’s become more and more freeing to just put lines down on real paper.

A collection of some recent nonsense. I find myself scribbling more traditional these days in my sketchbook so I’ll have to compile that as well. The summer months are never my most productive, but I’ve been reading and writing more lately and it’s got me motivated to put more time into sequential work. So more to come!

First image I used a mix of CP 3D models and drawings from my sketchbook. 3D models are super useful and can help speed things up if a deadline is looming but I end up losing a lot of movement because i reference too closely, and lose focus of the original silhouette.
Second page are some Theo doodles with a more ‘toon’ look so I can keep the focusing more on simple shapes and movement. I’ve gotten rusty with poses and had to channel my 2015 tumblr self haha! I need to get back ...

I want to be better at talking about my story and characters so have some info about this guy! He’s Fenton’s business partner and has been after Cliff’s face for his collection for YEARS but Cliff refuses to sell his look. He is interested in Theo’s face too but only after Theo gets a little fame of course.

I re-visited some old thumbnails with this idea and told myself that i was going to make an ‘quick‘ reel. I even let myself edit various older pieces to throw in there to save time!….lol. Of course I quickly realized that the original vision i had was beyond my schedule so i had to settle for something far less then intended.
Here are the illustrations, along with some old edited work and concepts. Perhaps one day i will remake this and add more.
