Talk about an emotional roller coaster!
Laughs, screams, tears (so many tears), this movie has it all. What an incredible experience. So thankful to all of you for being here and inspiring us to watch this series. We love it so much!

Go back and watch Episode 1 again now... It hits different now after you've seen the movie. I was living in Japan when this movie came out. Can't even tell you how many people dressed up as Rengoku that year and there was a Mugen Train themed ride at Universal Studios Japan where everyone was dressed up

When haylo and kiss couldn't hold back tears, yeah felt that, this is so emotional, no matter how many times I watch it. Ladies watch/hear the end credits song with lyrics if you haaven't already - it will kill you. I will post the link to the live performance of the song in discord.

Also, despite being released during pandemic, it managed to become the most successful release of a foreign language film in North American history. I cried so hard in the theatre and I cried again watching your reaction. And the animation my lord. Demon Slayer never disappoints. RiP Rengoku buddy. We all miss you.

If she was a demon slayer she wouldn't have been put to sleep lol! Idk why you guys haven't yet bud I'd definitely invest in a tissue box for demon slayer reactions, I needed them after season 1 and then I saw this movie and was relieved that I had them! I don't cry often but demon slayer hits different.

2023-08-23 17:49:34 +0000 UTCYes 19, Demon slayers usually retire early due to the toll it takes on the body. He was very mature! Had to take on the role of a parent and look out for his brother. Also in Japanese culture, samurai enjoyed every meal like it was their last, never knowing if they'd return from battle. Hence his "Umai/Delicious" exclamations whenever he ate. Brb gonna go cry again

Rengoku is such a good written character. with such little screen time and he manages to encapsulate the audience.
