“What do we do?!” Asked Hermione desperately.

This was so confusing, the trap looked so simple, and it seemed like the temple was guarded with skeleton dinosaurs, and yet, no one seemed to be in the mood to attack them until Harry suddenly raised his wand and used the same fire attack Dumbledore used to take care of the inferi in Tom Riddle’s cave, Harry thought that it would be enough to clear the path.

“I’ll keep doing that until—” Harry was about to say, however, suddenly, the destroyed skeletons were able to get back on their feet and not only that.

With the bones that were removed from Harry’s attack, new skeletons were appearing, it seems like once one of their bones is removed, more skeletons appear.

“What the…” Charlie managed to say before gulping, he didn’t know if he should be awed or scared.

“Well, it seems like that didn’t work,” Harry said completely disappointed.

“Great idea Harry…Now there’s more!” Hermione said a little bitterly.

“Well, we had to try something!” Harry tried to defend himself. “Come on, let’s keep attacking them, I’m sure that if we do it enough, we’re going to get rid of them eventually, maybe we can also collapse the server!” Harry said with a half-convinced tone.

Charlie was looking at him with confusion, while Victoire and Lucero were laughing nervously, Hermione was looking at her best friend with annoyance, this wasn’t the right time to think about video games.

However, they didn’t have a better idea, after all, if we consider this place to be some kind of ancient video game, then there must be a limit to how many enemies there must be in a place right? Otherwise, the whole dungeon would have been full of enemies a long time ago.

“Well…We have no other option…Let’s do it!” Hermione declared and soon, they started to fire more and more spells.

At first, they were doing it calmly but little by little, they were firing more spells but not only that, they were using more dangerous spells as time went by, and the quantity of them was increasing too, however, it wasn’t enough, the place was getting filled with more and more enemies.

“Shit…They're getting closer…Let’s get back!” Harry ordered the team and soon, they were trying to escape from the skeletons.

But it seemed like it was too late for that, Lucero was trying to search for the brooms but the sounds of pain coming from Harry suddenly distracted her.

“Fuck you!” Harry said to one velociraptor skeleton that had just bitten his free arm.

Completely angry and with his emotions out of control, Harry tried to kick the creature but it didn’t let go of the grip of his arm, Harry couldn’t help but get angrier than he already was and soon, he pierced the skeleton’s eye with his wand and nothing happened until he cast an explosive spell and with that, he managed to free his arm but it also caused the head to explode and with that something interesting happened, the rest of the skeleton’s body suddenly disintegrated and turned into dust.

“What the…The head…Attack their heads!” Victoire suddenly said with a hopeful expression.

All of them nodded and soon, the spells were being fired more intelligently, they were attacking the heads of the monsters and they were happy to find out that this method worked and soon, the skeleton numbers were being reduced, however, the fact that there were less it also meant that the ones that still were moving had more space to move and plan a surprise attack.

Still, there were five people with wands, so, it was more difficult than it looked for the creatures to plan an attack. Harry and his friends don’t know how long the fight lasted but when it was finally over, they realized that the moon was already set in the sky, it was full and bright just like their hopes.

“W-we did it!” Victoire declared and soon, the whole group collapsed on the ground completely tired but happy at the same time.

“That was intense, to say the least…” Hermione couldn’t believe it.

It’s been a long time since she had felt like this, being a minister means that you become the most guarded person in the magical country, so, Hermione hadn’t feared for her life in a long time, so, what she had just experienced was a really strange, scary and exciting sensation for the brown-haired witch.

“Ah…This sucks!” Harry said as he tried to heal the wound that the skeleton left in him.

After he got attacked he managed to cast a spell to clean the injury to avoid contracting any disease, still, the monster’s fangs penetrated deeply into his arm.

“Let me help you, Harry,” Lucero suddenly intervened.

She ran as fast as she could and Harry smiled at her and told her what he had done to clean his wound and she praised him for his quick reasoning, luckily she was good when it came to healing, so, it didn’t take too long for her to use her wand and a few herbs to clean the wound once again.

The spells she was using to cure were new for the group and Hermione was looking at the Mexican witch with complete interest, soon, all of them relaxed the moment the wound was finally closed, Harry moved his arm a little, and even though the wound was already healed, his arm still hurt a little.

“You’ll be fine, it’ll take at least an hour for your arm to completely heal,” the honey-eyed witch suddenly told him with a bright smile.

In different circumstances, Victoire would’ve been jealous because of that interaction, however, she was happy that Harry was fine and that was the most important thing, for him to be safe and sound, after all, he’s not a person who usually takes care of his health regularly, so, his friends are used to nagging him until he takes care of himself.

“So, what do we do now?” Asked Charlie a little too tired to move, he was worried that the group would want to get inside the temple right now as he currently was hungry and tired.

“I think we should take a break and eat dinner before we get inside, what do you guys think?” Asked Harry with a cheerful expression.

“That sounds great…So, what are we going to eat?” Asked the eldest Weasley and soon, Charlie grimaced, it was time to eat more of that insect meat they cooked a few hours ago.

After that, they decided to sleep for a few hours, they were worried about what could be awaiting them inside, so, doing this after recovering their energies was a good idea and after a few hours of deserved rest and more insect meat, they were finally ready to face the challenge that awaited them inside and once they were in front of the main door, a message appeared on it.

“Up is the way but not the method…” Lucero read and soon, the confused expressions appeared on their faces once again.

Suddenly, the group stared at Hermione who was surprised but was also blushing, she was a little embarrassed because of the sudden attention.

“Well, it’s obvious that once we're inside, we need to go up, the second part is what confuses me, so, let’s just do it and enter, I'm curious about it,” Hermione told the group who were surprised she was having difficulties to decipher the message, it seems like even this was too much for her.

Soon, the doors opened and the place was completely dark, but then, once everyone was inside, the whole place lighted and the group was surprised the moment they saw the design of the building, there were only stairs built on the side of the walls and they were built spirally, all those stairs seemed endless that the group didn’t have words to describe their emotions at the moment.
