I'm Dominican and I remember going to see the movie with my sister, the theater was almost empty since they just opened after covid but I'm so glad i went. I remember the first time the flag came up on screen and looking at my sister, we were both tearing up. Is not often that Dominicans are portrayed in a good light in media
