“What the…Fleur, Tonks, get out of here as soon as possible!” Harry warned the two women who were in the bed.
He jumped out of bed as soon as he saw the floating notebook, he was worried and he knew it was a matter of time before he lost control of his magic and made a mess out of this, he could even kill them while he was in that state and that’s something he couldn't live with if, so, he was trying to avoid that from happening.
As for the women, they still were in bed with confused expressions, they were taken aback by his sudden change of attitude, and they were worried that they sucked so bad at sex that Harry wanted them out of his room.
“Harry…Relax, what’s wrong?” Asked Fleur as she approached him.
“Yes, what’s the matter, Harry? Did we do something wrong? Maybe we crossed some boundaries we weren’t aware of?” Asked the Auror with a worried tone.
“No…Not at all, you two are good, you two have done nothing wrong, but…The notebook is floating and that's not all!” Harry suddenly made a movement with his hand and the notebook moved from its position towards the other side of the room.
After looking at the ceiling, they were aware of why he was so worried, he clearly was in control of the notebook, and even though he knew he could do that by deeply wishing for it as that’s the countermeasure he has considering that he cannot use a wand, however, the last thing on his mind was making that notebook float which clearly meant he was using wandless magic.
Fleur and Nymphadora suddenly stared into each other’s eyes, they needed to calm him down, so, they decided to hug each one of his arms.
“Harry, there’s something you need to know…” Fleur started.
“That notebook…It has been floating for a long time,” Tonks told him as she caressed his chin.
Harry was starting to get more and more anxious, however, after realizing what they said, he couldn’t help but stare at them with a confused expression.
“What? There’s no way, the only way I can use magic is by wishing something to happen so badly, it takes a lot of concentration and I can assure you that the last thing on my mind while we were having sex was making the notebook float,” Harry explained, he was more confused than he was before.
“So this only means one thing,” Tonks started.
“You have your magic under control right now,” Fleur finished.
Harry couldn’t help but open his eyes as wide as he could get them before he fell on the floor on his knees, this didn't make any sense for the dark-haired wizard. Every time he conventionally uses his magic, it takes less than five minutes for him to get out of control if he’s lucky, and even though he hasn't shown signs of losing control of his emotions, he was still a little worried, so, he decided to let go of the notebook, he just ordered the thing to get back to normal and soon, the thing fell on his hands.
“So, this is what it feels like to use magic without having to make mental gymnastics,” Harry said completely shocked, this was too easy and incredible, and he wasn't even aware that it was rare to use wandless magic, not even his brother after being trained by Dumbledore could.
To think that he has been missing this feeling, the way you can feel one with nature and how you can control the energy to do what you want and not the opposite way, it was truly a magnificent feeling and he couldn’t help but feel emotional, now that he tasted this sensation, he didn’t want to let it go, however, he decided to not test his luck.
This could have easily been a mere coincidence, he was also theorizing that this was happening because of the fight he had with the Horcrux, he remembers that he left that thing pretty damaged, on the other hand, it was too much of a coincidence that the longest time he has been able to naturally use his magic was when he felt like he was loved, well, it was a different type of love to the one his mother was talking about in her notes, but in the end, it was love.
“It seems like my mother was on to something,” he couldn’t help but say before he sighed. “Is clear that love is a powerful tool, however, it’s so difficult to know if sex is enough to help me control my magic or if I have to find other types of love, or maybe have sex with more women at the same time…Ah…So many questions,” Harry’s head started to hurt.
The women couldn’t help but feel as confused as him but they couldn’t stop themselves from hugging him and this clearly helped him to calm him down.
“Thank you so much girls, I’m glad you two are with me…But I feel that this is not enough, I don’t know about you girls but I can’t stay here waiting for my parents and everyone to get revived to do something,” Harry explained a little more motivated now.
“What are you planning to do Harry?” Asked the blonde with a raised brow.
“I’m going to visit someone I’m sure hates my guts…Hermione Granger,” Harry said before sighing.
“What? The witch with the perfect memory? The human library?” Asked Tonks with a shocked tone.
Hermione Granger is someone out of this world even by magical standards, she was so good at school that she graduated three years earlier than her peers, and then, due to her amazing memory, she was appointed as the youngest master librarian in the ministry.
That may sound like a boring job but in a place with thousands of employees that every day want information about laws, magic spells, history, arithmancy, and muggle history, and considering she’s a muggle-born, she has more than good knowledge about muggle history, in fact, the newest edition of the book of muggle studies Hogwarts students get has been written by her.
Someone like her is the one who technically keeps the ministry afloat because every day tons of wizards and witches go with her when they need certain information quickly as they don’t have too much time to spend reading books to search for what they’re looking for.
That’s why Hermione is so important for the ministry, Harry has named her the human-computer seeing how reliable she was in school and the ministry, or at least he knows she's amazing in the ministry from what he knows due to his father’s stories as he has consulted the young woman a couple of times.
“Yes, the one and only…However, even though I know she even helps people who aren’t ministry employees and even gives lectures to civilians and government officials, I hope she doesn’t hold a grudge against me,” Harry couldn’t help but hate himself for acting in the way he acted the last time they saw each other.
“What happened between you two?” Asked Tonks with a curious tone, she loved to talk about drama.
“Yeah, tell us about it, I’m sure it won’t be that bad, I’ve heard she’s kind of a shut-in but I’ve also heard she treats people with respect regardless of what they do to make a living,” Fleur told him trying to ease his doubts.
“She confessed to me…She told me she was in love with me but I rejected her because I felt like I didn’t deserve to be with someone as amazing as she was…However, I didn’t tell her about the last part and I regretted rejecting her because that was the last time I saw her,” Harry couldn’t help but sigh.
Fleur and Tonks couldn’t help but feel sorry for him, it’s complicated to see if a woman takes rejections too seriously or if they don’t care too much about it, however, this wasn’t the right time to think about those things.
“Harry…You two were teenagers back then, right?” Tonks asked and Harry nodded. “Then you need to relax, there is this Weasley I dated back when I was at Hogwarts, we thought we would be together forever, but then, out of nowhere we suddenly had to break up, and trust me, it wasn’t a beautiful scene…However, we grew up and realized that it was the best thing we could do, the man loved his dragons more than me and I wanted to be an Auror, so, things ended up working for the two of us and we couldn’t help but laugh the last time we spoke,” Tonks tried to make him feel better.
Harry had some doubts still, however, her story made him feel a little better, but it was enough for him to motivate himself, this was no time to have doubts.
