“There’s no way…I need to call the police I’m getting robbed!” Andy said as he saw a lot of people loading a truck with his stuff, he managed to find a baseball bat on the truck, he bought that bat for security reasons.

The people who were loading the truck were trying to stop him but he got inside the house Anna let him stay to hunt whoever was in charge of this operation.

“Yes, it’s not so much,” a tall man said as he indicated more things to load on the trucks.

“Hey you, this is a private property!” Andy said angrily.

“Well, well, it looks—” The man suddenly looked back with an arrogant tone but he couldn’t continue because Andy decided to hit him with the baseball bat on his stomach.

“You messed up with the wrong—” Andy’s anger was getting the worst out of him but he became surprised the moment he realized who was the one in charge of this operation. “Aren’t you Fernando? Anna’s ex-husband?!” Asked Andy with a shocked tone.

“Sorry…We tried to stop him but he’s too fast!” A man said as he joined them and helped the Mexican older man to get on his feet.

“Ow…I think I’m about to throw up!” The man said with a worried tone.

Andy now felt guilty for causing this but on the other hand, he hated when people touched his stuff, and that man had no business here, he wasn’t sure Anna would allow this, even though he knew that the man used to own this place, after their divorce this place was supposed to belong only to Anna.

“Dad? What happened!?” A young woman with light skin said as she joined the room.

“Oh god…You need to stop trying to act tough dad, you're too old for that, you're not Arnold nor Sylvester!” A young man older than Andy said, he had the same skin tone as the young woman.

Soon, these two helped the older man to get on his feet.

“What’s going on here? Why is there so much noise in my place!?” Andy wanted answers.

After he had an intensive meeting with Roxy and not in a good way as they were discussing a lot of legal stuff, he wanted to rest a little, he was going to eat the frozen pizza in his fridge, put an anime, and then sleep like a log, he was tired.

“So…You’re the famous Andy…Our mom’s sugar baby!” The young man said with a tone full of anger.

“I’m not a sugar baby, I can be many things but a sugar baby isn’t one of them and whatever your mother does is not your business, you look like an adult, you should act like one…Who’s your mom anyway?” Andy asked with a confused tone.

And then, he started to see some resemblance between these two, the older man and someone he knew too well.

“Don’t tell me that…You two are Anna’s children?!” Andy couldn’t believe it but soon, they started to nod.

“Look…I don’t care about what my ex-wife does with her private life…” The older man said with a tone full of confidence.

Still, his children didn’t believe in his words, they knew his dad really cared about who their mother dated, and even though he had no room to complain as he was the one who ruined the marriage.

“What I’m worried about is the future of my children…This place belongs to them,” the older man said with an angry tone.

“Yeah I’m quite aware of that but she told me these two were currently in college,” Andy said as he pointed at the people that were about his age.

Soon, he gained himself a couple of looks full of them, it seemed like he wasn’t supposed to know that, he didn't do himself any favor by saying that, he was aware that the older man loved his mom way too much so he wouldn’t be surprised if their children loved their mom in the same way, so, hearing those words from him was probably giving them the right idea of what was going on between him and Anna, but they weren't supposed to know that.

“Why are you looking at me like that? Don’t tell me that…There’s no way, nothing is going on between me and Anna!” Andy tried to fake being offended.

He wasn’t lying though, they indeed had sex but they are more like friends with benefits who see each other from time to time to have fun even though that hasn’t been possible these past few days.

“If that’s not the case then why is she letting you stay here?” Asked the other young man with an angry tone.

“Because we became friends during the last meeting she had with the important people of the city, I showed my piano skills and she became a fan of my work, when she told me what I wanted in exchange for helping her to entertain the guests at the party I just asked her if she knew about a place where I can stay, she suggested that I should stay here, I was reluctant at first she said she wasn’t using this place anyway,” Andy said completely annoyed by this situation.

Hearing those words made the older man get more angry than he already was, after all, this place was special to him, it had great value so, seeing this place being used by a young useless man who decided to attack the most loved football player of the state was something he wasn’t going to allow.

“Look…I don’t care about what deal you and my ex-wife made,” he said in a more confident tone.

What Andy didn’t know is that his words made the older man feel better knowing that his ex-wife wasn’t sleeping with a man half of her age and even younger than their children, but still, he tried to play it cool.

“You’re currently facing a big trouble that’s not only affecting me because I’m a fan of Corey Matthews, but you’re also affecting my ex-wife’s reputation as the press started to speculate about the relationship between you and her, and now they're trying to paint her as the one at fault of the incident because she let a person like you live in this area, she hates you, she doesn’t want to see you but she’s too good to kick you out, that’s why we’re here,” the older man said with a tone full of anger.

Andy was about to argue, it wasn’t his fault that the man everyone loved turned out to be a complete jerk, he hated being the one who made people see the reality but it wasn’t his fault, however, knowing that this thing has been affecting Anna, now he knew why she had been avoiding him, he suddenly did something no one expected, he decided to contact Anna to ask her if it was the truth.

However, he soon heard the ringtone in one of the rooms and he was about to open the door where the sound came from but the door was locked, he knew it wasn’t a good idea to push things, so, he just wanted to know the truth.

“Anna…Is that you right? Is it true that you don’t want to see me again?” Asked Andy with a concerned tone.

However, he didn’t get an answer, he quickly understood what was going on here.

“You know what Anna? You don’t have to answer anything, if you’ve taken this decision and you’re serious about it, then…There’s nothing more I can say than…Sorry for everything I caused you and I’m glad you’re deciding to ditch me, after all, I’m going to face a brutal legal battle, no innocent should be dragged into this so, if you feel the need to defame me in the news, you’re free to do it,” Andy said with a weak smile on his face.

But even after this speech, Anna didn’t want to face him, he really screwed things up.

“Thank you for letting me stay here, I’ll contact you soon to pay you for the time I spent here,” Andy told her before giggling.

“Sir, everything’s loaded in the truck,” one of the loaders said and the older Mexican man nodded.

Andy decided to approach the family who were looking at him with hatred, one would think that they would side with an innocent person, so, even though he made them believe nothing was going on between him and their mother, looking at their shirts, he knew they were on Corey's side this time.

“Take care of her, she’s a good friend and if you’re going to claim this property at least visit her once per month,” Andy told them before leaving the house.

He was escorted by the moving guys and soon, he started to look on the truck if his stuff was all there and it seemed like everything was right, now he had to worry about finding a place to stay, there was no way he was going to get back with his parents. Andy breathed heavily and soon, he managed to erase the feelings he had for Anna, she wasn’t useful for his purposes anymore, and there was no point harboring love towards her anymore, this power Lucian gave him surely was a bit scary but it protected him from getting hurt.
