And soon, the news played the video he sold them, the video of the aggression he got from that football player, of course, he completely clipped out the part where he pulled out the gun, he had the perfect excuse in case he got asked why the video isn’t that long, he was ready to tell whoever asked that question that he didn’t have too much space on the device he put to secretly record what happened.

The video was amazing, Corey was showing his true face, and he was acting like an entitled monster, in the audio you could hear his despise for the country and the way he really thought about his fans and football fans, Andy couldn’t help but smirk, surely a lot of sponsors are going to drop him off and even his politician friends are going to distance from him because there’s no way they’d like to associate themselves with some who thinks like that about the country and its citizens.

However, even if Andy knew that the man would receive a huge backlash just like his family, it wasn’t easy to feel positive about the downfall of a man with a net worth of two hundred million dollars, he and many generations of his family will have an easy life regardless of this event, it was a bitter victory because now he knew that the man was going to sue him because of this.

Andy was nervous, however, the moment he decided to put that video on the internet and the moment he decided to not delete the video, he knew he was going to get sued eventually, so, it was just a matter of time, this just sped things up.

“Wait a minute…This isn’t too bad, this is an opportunity knocking at my door for the possibility of getting more money and considering this is a legal battle against a very famous person, I’m surely going to get lots of exposure from the media and as a consequence, I will be able to get more fans!” Andy couldn’t help but laugh.

Just when they thought they could destroy him, they gave him an incredible opportunity served in a silver plate that he was going to use to thrive.

“Okay, I have almost ten thousand dollars in savings, let’s put aside the music earnings and what I got paid for the video because I haven’t taxed that yet, but I think in theory I have at least twenty thousand dollars in my pocket,” Andy suddenly said with a calm expression.

He started to think about how much he needed, he wanted a good lawyer for what was about to come.

“Okay, assuming I get a lawyer who charges five hundred dollars per hour, assuming I can keep earning the same amount of money with my music per month…I think it’s going to be difficult but, I think it’s possible,” Andy couldn’t help but gulp at the thought of having to see a lawyer eight hours a day, every day, this was a new experience for him after all.

He was going to continue digging into his thoughts but suddenly, someone knocked on his door once again, but he didn’t even feel surprised, he knew what was coming, so, he took a look at the peephole and suddenly, he sighed.

“Hey guys...I guess you’re coming to tell me that your clients are going to sue me, right?” Asked Andy as he faced the lawyers of the Matthews family once again.

“You’re a smart young man, it’s a shame that you didn’t use your intelligence to back off and delete that video, instead, you also decided to give the full footage to the media without our client being able to defend himself, so…This is for you, we’ll see you in the court soon,” an old lawyer gave him a document.

Yes, the document confirmed that he was getting sued not only for defamation but also for other minor crimes that he wasn’t sure would proceed, but if some criminals are caught because of taxes and not for being murderers or drug dealers, he’s sure that in his case the Matthews family was willing to use scraps just to get him on jail or destroy him and his reputation.

“Thank you,” Andy said with a serious expression, he wasn’t going to give them the satisfaction of seeing him angry.

“Well, good luck finding a lawyer who’d be willing to represent you, after all, the power this man holds is something amazing, you’re going to regret the day you decided to mess with them,” a female lawyer said with a smirk on her face but Andy didn’t do nor say something, he just stood there.

It didn’t take too long for him to close the door with a serious expression before he sighed, those lawyers were crazy but they were right, he needed to get a good lawyer, so, he visited the first law firm he found on Google close to where he lives, there he was greeted by a young secretary.

“Yes, how can we help you?” Asked the woman named Laura.

“Oh, hi, my name is Andrew Richards and I’m looking for a lawyer…I got sued by Corey Matthews,” the young man said with some embarrassment.

“Oh, right, you’re that guy Corey Matthews talked about in his Instagram…Let me talk to my boss,” the secretary said in a scared tone.

Suddenly, a lawyer who looked to be in his fifties came out of his office, but that’s not all, it seems like he decided to call the whole firm because all the doors were opened and soon, all the lawyers got close to Andy, he was excited…Maybe they were willing to help him for free, maybe they were planning to become a team just to help him, or maybe the possible money he could get sounded good to them.

“Mr. Richards, we’re honored to know we were the ones you thought about representing you for such an important case but after sharing a few words with my colleagues…It has been decided to decline your proposal,” the boss said with a calm expression.

“Wait, what?” Asked Andy with a confused tone.

“Yes, you see…We’ve seen the footage and we are aware of the feud between you and Mrs. Matthews and we're sorry to say this but we can’t work for you…First of all, we’re fans of Corey and second of all, his team of lawyers is incredible, he has collected the most infamous lawyers in the country, whoever faces them is going to get destroyed and we aren’t going to risk our firm's reputation just to prove a point, we are not a charity,” the man said with a cold tone.

“But I have money, I can pay!” Andy was worried that if things continued like this, he was going to have to defend himself and that was a terrible idea.

“This firm's reputation is more important than any money you can give us Mr. Richards, I’d suggest you let the state provide you with a lawyer because I seriously doubt any respectable firm would want to work for you…Now if you excuse us,” the man didn’t even give him a second thought and soon, all the lawyers got back to their work.

“We’ll see that!” Andy said with an angry tone, he was ready to find another firm.

“Wait!” He was suddenly stopped by the secretary and soon, she handed him a business card.

“Roxane Welsh?” Asked Andy with a confused tone.

“You should call her, she may look like she's not that good, but trust me, she’s an incredible lawyer, if you tell her Laura sent you I’m sure she’s going to help you for a good price!” Laura told him in a low tone.

Andy was a little skeptical, it seemed like this woman was doing business without her bosses knowing, so, he nodded and smiled at her before he disappeared. Before calling her, he decided to do a quick research and his eyes widened.

“What the…” Andy was speechless.

Now he knew why she could be the only one who could help him, he searched on the news and it seemed like she recently has been involved in some tough cases and she lost all of them, so, Andy decided to forget about it and search for another firm, luckily there were some more on the state.

A few hours later.

Andy was devastated, he was eating a cheap burger in a fast food restaurant, but aside from the depressing food he was eating, he was acting like this because just like he was told in the first firm, no one wanted to help not even independent lawyers wanted to help him, he was still thinking about Roxane.

“Let’s see more of her,” Andy said as he read the articles that involved Roxane Welsh.

At first, he was surprised because he read some older articles and she seemed like a good lawyer but after reading a more recent article his eyes widened, so, he decided to read another and then another, the more he read the more impressed he was.

“Okay, her clients were, a hitman from the cartel who killed an innocent family, a serial killer, a wife beater, someone who killed a dog just because he wanted to…All of them received huge sentences,” Andy couldn’t help but smirk.

This woman wasn’t an idiot, she was perfectly fine, she was taking justice by her own hands.
