“Thank you thank you!” Andy said as he got on his feet and he was receiving lots of praise from the audience.

It’s been a long time since he had been in this position but he was truly longing for this feeling of acceptance and recognition he never got at home, he felt so important right now.

Andy was so surprised that a lot of the guests wanted him to perform at their parties, this was the first time in a very long time he managed to share his telephone number with a lot of people, but the best thing was that these contacts were going to be his clients and considering all of them were wealthy he was now seeing the light and the worry that he got after quitting his job was finally disappearing.

“That was amazing Andy,” Anna suddenly grabbed him by his arm.

“I’m glad you liked it, I sure hope I didn’t sound weird, it’s been a long time since I’ve improvised a melody,” he told the mayor and she giggled.

“Don’t worry, you were amazing…And so cool at the same time, you should be careful or else I’m going to fall for you,” she laughed after she said those words and she was clearly half-joking and half-flirting with him.

“Well then I guess now I can feel relieved because I see no problem in you falling for me,” he said with a smirk and he suddenly continued walking without her.

The woman was speechless, she couldn’t believe someone as young as Andy didn't turn a drooling mess when he saw her, most young men act like that and she has always noticed it it's just that she doesn't find them worthy, Anna is not dumb, she’s single and her friends are always trying to hook her up with someone and the guys are always surprised she’s single, especially the young ones.

They always try to seduce her and she loves teasing them but because they’re still a little dumb at that age, she doesn’t take them seriously even though some of them want to marry her after their first meeting, it’s so funny but she loves it, she finds them too cute to not tease them.

However, Andy is a very different man, he’s not the tallest guy out there and he is cute, however, the confidence he has in his voice, the way he walks and moves, and his mannerisms, she can tell she’s in front of an ambitious man as she watches him, and she loves those kinds of guys and considering that no matter how much she teases him and the way her flirting doesn't affect him, she can’t help but feel an interest towards him.

Still, the older woman preferred to keep herself quiet at this moment, she didn’t want to ruin things before they started, so, she suddenly joined him and grabbed him by his hand which made her gain a surprised look from him, but in the end, he smirked at her and that smirk melted her heart.

He was so cool and confident but what she didn’t know was that his powers were boosting his confidence, in reality, he was so nervous in his head but thanks to the powers, he managed to keep himself cool, and they remained smiling at each other and enjoying the company until they reached the most important table.

Andy was taken by surprise by this table, it was full of older beautiful women from many races, they were like a MILF committee…Was he going to get judged by them? He quickly shook his thoughts off, he needed to calm down and not try to seduce any of these women with his powers, or else, things could end badly for him.

“Hey girls…I’m sorry for the lateness but as you can see, my companion was stopped because of his interesting abilities with his fingers,” Anna said with a soft smile on her face.

Andy was surprised she could say something like that considering most people think they’re dating, either she’s too clueless or she’s doing it because she was giving the women some hints, but suddenly, all these women took a look at him and they couldn't help but feel shocked.

“What…” A woman with dark skin said.

“I can’t believe this…” An Asian woman said this time.

Andy was worried this could end badly, he was completely convinced they knew about his secret and now things were going to become harder for him, he was so nervous about getting discovered but still, he managed to keep himself cool.

“I can’t believe you brought a man!” A woman with long black hair, pale skin, and green eyes said with a shocked tone.

And then the rest of the women sitting at the table started to laugh at Anna which confused Andy a little, he thought that all these women were her friends.

“Oh Anna…So this is why you’ve been avoiding all the guys I’ve been trying to hook you up with?” Asked a red-haired woman and the young man was surprised by her words.

“As a woman I’m surprised, but as a musician I’m satisfied,” the eldest woman at the table who had grey hair and looked to be close to her sixties said with a soft smile on her face.

“You girls are misunderstanding this situation…His name is Andy and he’s my friend, he was in the protest, so, I invited him to witness that we're working to make the city better,” Anna said sincerely and her friends were now disappointed, or at least it looked like they were due of the expressions on their faces.

“Hi, I’m Andy but please…Don’t put me in the same place as those mad people protesting like animals, I’m more on the logical side of things and I’m not completely affiliated with them I don’t think there’s a good or bad side,” Andy said in the most chivalrous tone possible.

That action gained him a look from Anna and Anna’s friends couldn’t overlook this but they decided to remain in silence.

“Well, I guess it’s time for me to introduce you to my friends, Andy,” Anna said as she clarified her voice.

Andy couldn’t help but see that all her friends were attractive, however, he decided to not think too much about that, he had to focus, and even though they were hot, Anna was the most important woman in this whole room due to her political position, being greedy wasn’t going to serve him any good.

“This is my friend Amanda Waters, she’s the owner of the most important accounting firm in the state and her main offices are located in this city,” Anna introduced him to the woman with the dark skin.

She truly had the office looks, if Andy could guess something she looked to be close to her fifties, and she was wearing high black heels and a dark tight skirt alongside a blue tight blouse with long sleeves.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Amanda,” Andy said with a soft smile on his face, he avoided looking into her eyes for too long to avoid her falling in love with him.

“The pleasure is mine,” the dark-skinned woman told him with a soft smile before he was introduced to the next one.

“This is Yuko Sakamoto, and she’s the current head of the most important construction firm in the state, the main office is located in our city of course,” Andy was introduced to the Asian woman.

She looked to be in her early forties, with no ring, but she was interesting because her tight sleeveless dress let him see her long-toned legs and arms, there was no doubt she worked out.

“It’s a pleasure,” they said at the same time and then it was time to introduce him to the next woman.

“Now this is Fiorella Pagani, she’s the current head of Pagani’s the most popular Italian food chain in the state,” now it was the turn of the woman with green eyes.

She looked to be in her early fifties, and she was wearing white shoes, tight blue jeans, and a tight white blouse.

“It’s nice meeting you,” they said at the same time and it was time for the next woman.

“Now please meet Audrey McDonald, she’s been a long-time friend and she has a very important jewelry business, she has even sold pieces to famous people!” Anna introduced him to the red-haired woman.

She had grey eyes and was wearing a long blue dress.

“It’s a pleasure,” they said to each other and now it was time for the final woman.

“I think you’ll get along very well with Donna Schneider…She’s the city's culture minister, but also, she’s a trained musician,” Now it was the time for Andy to meet the woman with grey hair.

She was wearing a black suit and hat, and she couldn’t help but smirk once she had the chance to talk directly with him.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” they said to each other.

“Don’t worry too much about their titles, at the end of the day they're good friends, so, don’t be afraid, they’re good people…Please make him feel welcome girls, it’s time for me to give my speech,” Anna said before disappearing.

There was nothing between him and Anna currently, but seeing the looks these women were giving to him, he was afraid he would do something that could break the trust between Anna and him.
