“Hey guys,” Andy said to the guards who stopped him from entering before.

“Me? Uh, I’m just here to witness the progress of our dear mayor, nothing else, I’m her companion for the night,” Andy said with a smirk on his face.

And suddenly these two guys feared that they could lose their jobs because they did something terrible to someone who was part of the mayor's social circle.

“I don’t think they’re too trustable to treat you in the way you deserve, let me help you...My lady,” Andy said with a smirk as he ran as fast as he could to open the door for the older woman.

To say she was surprised would be an understatement, she never thought a young man like him could act like a gentleman, but it was a very pleasant surprise, Andy was even more surprised when the woman came out of the car and she was towering him for at least a few inches, he was too happy right now, he always wanted to date a woman taller than him, but he decided to calm down and focus.

“Shall we get going, Mayor Olsson?” Asked the young man and she nodded.

“Please call me Anna,” she said with a smile on her face.

“Anna, such a beautiful name, well, not as beautiful as the person of course…You can call me Andy if you want to,” the young man said in a flirty tone and the woman felt in heaven.

What Andy didn’t know is that this woman loved the kind, romantic type of men…But they also needed to have money of course so they could shower her and give her everything she thought she deserved.

But to find a man like that was so difficult, especially in a very conservative state like this where men for some reason are so cold, so, she thought she could never get the man of her dreams until she met a Mexican guy who had all the things she was looking for in a man.

His skin was light but he wasn’t pale, he had honey eyes and curly brown hair, he was also muscular and tall, with only his appearance, he was the ideal man for many women not just her but adding to that, he was romantic, caring, a very good lover and husband, and the most important thing is that his family back in Mexico were part of the political elite, so, he was incredibly wealthy, that’s why he came here with a visa because he came to invest in the housing industry, he was a successful legal immigrant.

However, as it was stated, he was a very popular man with the ladies regardless of their age, so, even though he was dating and eventually married Anna, he cheated on her multiple times, and by the time their children were already in college, Anna gave up in trying to please him, so, they divorced.

Anna wanted to take revenge on her ex-husband, so, when her ex-husband tried to do what Arnold Schwarzenegger did as an immigrant (a politician, and in this case, her ex-husband wanted to become the city mayor), Anna decided to compete, thanks to the years working in her husband’s housing business, she met lots of powerful people who hated her husband for his prices, so, the last thing they wanted to was to give that man more power than he already had.

So, with the financing of those people and the fact that Anna knew a lot of dirty stuff about her husband and she didn't hesitate to use that information for her own benefit, she tried to be the perfect wife but if he hadn’t been that busy fucking any woman he encountered, he would have some dirt on her but in the end, she won easily, which shouldn’t be a surprise, she was white and American-born, something vital when you want to rule a conservative region, something her arrogant husband never understood.

So, the first part of her vengeance was already on the way, and seeing the way this young man was treating her, an idea was crossing her mind right now, because yes, even though her ex-husband lost the elections and even though they were not even friends these days, he decided to attend this meeting.

He sent her a message telling her that just when she was getting ready less than an hour ago, he was a powerful investor in this region, so, even though she knew he did that to annoy her, so, as an act of revenger, aside from continuing making his life hell with the construction contracts she’s planning something to do something else tonight and this young man was perfect to help her with that plan.

“Andy…You’re such a charmer, at my age I would have never expected to have such a caring and handsome young man after me,” the older woman said with a huge smirk on her face.

Andy knew she was being totally honest, or at least he thought she was based on what he knew about his powers according to Lucian, right now he knew he was acting like her ideal man, and this was getting better and better.

As for Anna, the first part of her vengeance was done, the second one was losing weight and getting some surgeries to look better, it has been a long year but she has managed to change her life for the better, even though she has been a crappy mayor, she doesn’t care about that, she only has to complete her vengeance and that’s all, as for the next part of her plan…

“Andy…I don’t know how you knew I liked romantic, caring, handsome good guys but…You’re a gift sent from heaven, and there’s a favor I'd like to ask you…Of course, it won’t be for free, you’ll get nicely rewarded if you help me with that,” the young man said as she grabbed his hands and stared at the younger man's eyes with a playful expression.

Andy was surprised, in different circumstances he would’ve expected this woman to act completely serious, annoying and indifferent towards him, of course with his powers that was now impossible, but it still surprised him how lovely she was, at the end of the day, no matter how much of a jerk he tries to portray himself to be, he still has a soft spot for women like her.

“Of course mayor, you can ask me for anything, I’ll even do it for free if you want me to,” Andy said as he caressed one of her hands.

He wasn’t aware why he did that, the powers were the ones making him act like that and it seemed like that slight touch made the woman feel happy.

“I want you…I want you to pretend that you’re my boyfriend,” she said bluntly.

She didn’t even hesitate in telling this to the young man, she was so hopeful about giving a lesson to her ex-husband because lately, Fernando has been interested in getting back with her, of course, she knows he’s probably more interested in the political benefits he could get from getting back with her and she considered it at the time until he said something that made her blood boil.

“Anna, let’s be honest, you look old and ridiculous, no man will genuinely love you again, I’m your best option if you don’t want to be alone for the rest of your life,” that’s what he said and every time Anna thinks about it, she feels an incredible rage rising.

So, that’s why she was ready for the next part of the plan, she was going to destroy that arrogant man’s ego in so many little pieces that not even his Abuelita (grandma) would be able to fix it, this was perfect.
