“H-Harry…Is that you!?” Lily couldn’t believe her eyes, the sight was too incredible to be true.

She was worried she could be dreaming right now but here she was her son, looking as handsome as ever and he seemed to be in a different light, for some reason, Lily felt like something changed inside him and she was wondering what made him come here, it seems like he shaved the beard he had, or at least Henry was always talking about his beard every time he came back from visiting him.

“Yes…Here I am Mom…I’m sorry it took me so long to come back,” he said with a weak smile on his face.

But it didn’t take too long for Lily to run as fast as she could to hug him and Harry didn’t hesitate to hug his mother back, this felt right, despite everything they’d been through, the disputes, the disagreements, everything, being in her arms felt right.

“I’ve missed you so much…This is the best gift I could’ve received today!” Lily couldn’t stop herself from crying.

Meanwhile, James and Henry decided to give her and Harry some alone time that they desperately needed to clarify some things.

“Uh, I guess we better tell the guests to wait a little longer…It’s good to see you again, son,” James said with a calm tone but she felt like the happiest man in the world right now.

“Yeah, dad…It’s nice to see you too,” Harry said with a happy tone.

He felt like a child again, the memories of those days when he was coming back from Hogwarts were starting to get back to his mind, or when he came back from the summer camps he assisted with his brother during the summers when they were kids, all those memories were coming back to him, and even though some of them were blurry as his mind has erased a few things for some reason, he can’t help but feel the happiness he experienced during those days once again.

“I never thought I would see you again…” Lily was now more calm.

“Me too mother but…I had a horrible dream, well, that’s what a nightmare is, right? Yes, I had a nightmare…It made me realize that time goes so fast that in the blink of an eye, you can lose everything, and I didn’t want to regret not spending more time with all of you,” Harry confessed and his mother couldn’t help but look at him with the most loving eyes in the world.

She was his mother after all, there’s no love purer and stronger than the one a mother has for her children, she nodded at his words and soon, they moved to the other side of the room to sit on a couch, Lily needed some time to collect her thoughts.

“So…What are you planning to do now? Did you come here only to attend my party or is there something else that you’re searching for?” His mother asked now in a more calm tone.

Harry couldn’t help but smirk, his mother knew him very well, it seemed like she was more than aware that he had other reasons to come back to the city, and he wasn’t going to lie to her, or at least he was not going to completely lie to her, not on her birthday.

“Yes mother…You once told me that my magic problem has a solution but you told me that it requires a lot of willpower, something I truly lack but…I’m tired of living like this, I want to have a normal life,” Harry confessed and his mother nodded.

“Well, you can stay here with us for as long as you want and you know you can count on me and your father to help you solve your problem,” his mother suggested and he nodded with a happy smile on his face.

“Thank you, Mother, I knew I could count on all of you, I never doubted you guys,” Harry said with the most sincere smile on his face.

“Well, I guess we better get going, the guests are probably getting impatient and I’m sure they’re going to love seeing you again, shall we get going?” Asked Lily while Harry was staring at the only bookshelf that was in the room.

This bookshelf was full of rare magical books and for some reason, his parents always forbade him and Henry from reading the content of those books, he knows it’s dangerous to ask his mother to let him take a look at the content of those books, so, he’d have to find a chance to look at them secretly, he’s hoping for everyone to get wasted during the party so he could have his opportunity to take a look at the books his mother forbade them from reading them as if their lives depended on it.

After his encounter with the goddess who created magic, Harry now has two objectives in his life, the first one is for him to find the solution to destroy the Horcrux that’s inside him and the second one is for him to find the reincarnation of the goddess, and that’s going to be the hardest quest for him as he has no clues.

But still, even if it sounds impossible, he wants to find her reincarnation, that person might be the only link he could have to prevent the events that are supposed to happen, there’s nothing but death in the near future, death and destruction and no one but him can prevent that awful future from happening.

He can only do this alone because no one is going to believe he has a horcrux inside his body, the only ones crazy enough to believe those words are the death eaters but they already know about it according to the goddess and Harry is completely convinced they’re waiting for the right moment to attack, that’s why he decided to leave the forest to return to the magical world.

He knows that if he fights them in the countryside, the possibility of him losing control of his magic and destroying everything and everyone is high, that’s why he going to live here with other wizards and witches even though the presence of magic is going to make him suffer internally, but if that’s the price he’ll have to pay so no one could get hurt, he’s more than happy to do it.

He also knows that if the people close to him know about the Horcrux inside him, they are going to try everything in their hands to keep him safe because that probably makes him a scapegoat, someone that needs to be sacrificed but he knows his family won’t let that happen easily, and his condition could get everyone killed and that’s the last thing he wants them to go through.

“Harry?” His mother asked with a raised brow and he came back to reality.

“Ah, sorry mom…It’s just that the bookshelf in front of us brings so many memories of the past,” Harry chuckled after he said those words.

“Those are nothing but boring books, Harry, so…No matter the circumstances, you shouldn’t read them, trust me,” Lily said in a sweet tone but she was more ordering than suggesting.

“Right…No one wants to read something that sounds boring…” Harry chuckled nervously. “Shall we get to the party, then?” Harry asked in a more cheerful tone.

“Yes, let’s get going!” Lily said before she grabbed his hand and the moment they got out of the room, Lily made sure to lock the door with enchantments and other stuff. “Don’t worry about it, there are dangerous objects in my room, we don’t want the kids that came to the party to get hurt, right?” Asked the older redhead and Harry nodded.

He was no fool, he knew his mother was nervous right now, the mere mention of the bookshelf changed her attitude, that was a good sign, but it was going to be difficult to get the chance to read those books.

“Harry…Let’s go,” his mother said now that she was many steps ahead of him, and soon he followed her.

Once they arrived at the main hall, all the people congratulated Lily but soon, they were surprised to see Harry Potter once again, it’s been years since most people had seen the younger man, the twin’s godfather Sirius almost broke Harry's back due of the strong way he hugged him.

Remus was also there and there were many of the family friends here with their daughters, they were even suggesting Harry and his brother to date them and Harry couldn’t help but politely decline their offers even if he wanted to accept, a lot of them were pretty after all, but he doesn't believe in arranged relationships, surprisingly, Fleur Delacour was also here.

During the tri-wizard tournament, she became friends with his brother Henry, however, the French witch surprised Harry one day by confessing she had a crush on him, but he had to reject her, he didn’t have the confidence to date someone as pretty as her and now looking at her, Harry can't help but feel like an idiot.

Harry was chatting with Sirius when he was suddenly approached by a very busty and beautiful witch with purple hair.

“Hey Harry…Long time not seeing you!” Harry looked back to see her, she was smirking at him and she had a mischievous expression.

“Tonks!” That’s the only word Harry managed to say.

The older witch could only chuckle due to the younger man’s reaction, she loved to tease him.
