“I can’t believe this is happening,” a blonde man dressed in a black suit said before sighing, he had a weak smile on his face.

“What do you mean Naruto-kun?” A blue-haired woman wearing a white dress said with a raised brow.

“Well, Hinata-chan…I’m talking about the fact that my mother is marrying Sasuke…I can’t believe things turned out this way for them but...It makes me happy to see them happy,” Naruto said and he was still surprised by this sudden turn of events.

Naruto and Hinata were inside a church and in front of everyone, a red-haired older woman sporting a round belly under her wedding dress and a young dark-haired man dressed in a black suit were sharing their first kiss as a married couple.

Yes, it’s a very shocking turn of events for anyone who didn’t pay attention, the reality is that this is something that had been foreshadowed for a very long time, or at least it would've been obvious for anyone who paid a little more attention, with some effort anyone would’ve realized that they were meant to be together after these two became close about a year ago after Kushina broke up with her previous boyfriend who later pathetically wanted to come back with her but when he made a tantrum and he was threatening Kushina, however, he was suddenly stopped by Sasuke who decided to put him on a very twisted illusion that lasted for a few days and after that, he never did it again.

After Kushina and Sasuke had sex to find out what was wrong with her, he asked her to be his girlfriend, and surprisingly, Kushina decided to reject him, she didn’t think it was proper for them to become a couple even though she felt attracted to him, however, she didn’t want to put him through the same shit her previous partners went through.

They indeed realized what was wrong with her, she was too much for her boyfriends because they weren’t able to keep up with her libido and Sasuke was more than capable of keeping up with her, however, she didn’t want to risk anything, maybe he was able to keep up with her at the start but she was fearing he could get bored and tired of her, and she didn’t want him to go through that and she also didn't want to get her heart broken again.

After she rejected him, they didn’t speak for more than a week, Kushina tried to be strong, however, as days went by there was no time in which didn’t think about the Uchiha, he managed to cause such an impression on her that she couldn't keep him out of her mind, after all, during their fake dating week, not only she realized he was handsome and hot as fuck, she also discovered that he had a lot of qualities that she found attractive in a man, so at some point, she decided to get completely wasted to forget him.

After that night full of alcohol, she woke up in a strange place that seemed familiar at the same time, and it wasn’t until she fully opened her eyes that she realized she was sleeping at Sasuke’s apartment, and the moment he entered the room with something for her hangover she started to cry.

She didn’t know if the remaining alcohol in her system was the one doing all the talk but she confessed that she still thought about him every day and she wanted to be together with him again, and surprisingly, he told her the same, he wanted her back.

That previous night he wanted to forget about her, so, he decided to get drunk but he was very unlucky because he found a very drunk Kushina dancing with a bunch of random guys who were planning to take her to a hotel, luckily Sasuke managed to scare them away and because he didn’t get drunk, he just took her back to his apartment where she collapsed and fell asleep as soon as she arrived.

After realizing that they had been through the same thing, they couldn’t help but laugh, it was very relieving that nothing bad happened to Kushina and after speaking about their feelings, they couldn’t contain themselves anymore and shared a soft kiss, they knew loving each other was going to be hard, but still, they decided to be brave, still, they decided to keep their relationship a secret for a few months.

The moment they realized they were getting serious, they decided that it was time to tell their friends about their relationship, and to say they were shocked would be the understatement of the century, and they were expecting that reaction from them, however, what they didn’t expect was getting the approval of the council elders.

They seemed overjoyed about the idea of a Uchiha and a Uzumaki being together, of course, they were more interested in what could result from their union, and at that time having children was something they had been working on because the life of a ninja is so unpredictable that you could die at any moment.

That’s why Sasuke wanted to at least give Kushina what she wanted which was a family, and he didn’t know how long they could last as a happy family but if he died, at least he would die happy knowing that the Uchiha clan would continue and that she would get the family she wanted, that’s why having unprotected sex was something they did every day, back then Sasuke was trying to cum inside her at any chance he could.

However, they knew that it was time to tell Naruto everything, he was her son after all, he was already an adult but that didn’t change the fact that he was still the most important person in her life, so, the day finally came, Kushina and Sasuke invited Naruto and Hinata for dinner, that was a decision that took Naruto and his wife by surprise as they weren’t aware of the status of their relationship yet, Kushina and Sasuke wanted them to be the last ones because they wanted to take their time with them.

At the end of the dinner, Naruto was still confused about why his mother and Sasuke invited them but the moment the bomb was dropped that Sasuke and Kushina had been dating for six months and that they were serious about their relationship was a very shocking revelation for Naruto and his wife.

Naruto wasn’t so happy about it at first, but in the end, he realized this was his fault partially because he pressured his mother to date someone, and to be fair there weren't many guys around his mother’s age and that's because most ninjas are weak and don’t live too long, she could either be with an old man on the verge of dying or a young ninja like Sasuke, and in the end, something that he feared and he didn’t consider before happened, she was dating a guy that was around his age.

However, in the end, he sighed and accepted their relationship, he wasn’t happy with his mother dating Sasuke that’s true, but after realizing that he was good with his mother, he couldn’t help but accept the relationship, of course, his wife helped him too to realize that his mother’s happiness was more important than anything else in the world, and that’s why he’s in the first row witnessing his mother kissing her new husband.

Naruto hated to admit it but the idea of having another sibling made him feel happy, he always wanted to be a big brother, and even though he was going to be so much older than his soon-to-be sibling, he couldn’t wait to meet finally them.

The party ended and Naruto hugged his mother and Sasuke who decided to retire before starting their honeymoon, after all, Kushina was pregnant and she needed extra rest, the baby in her tummy made her feel tired but it was all worth, she was going to have a family once again and she couldn’t be happier.

Neither Kushina nor Sasuke knew what the future held for them but as long as they were together they knew they’d be more than fine, Kushina was the happiest woman in the world right now and Sasuke finally had a reason to smile more, now he had a responsibility much greater than anything else he has had in his life, still, he felt ready for that responsibility.

“I love you Sasuke Uchiha,” Kushina said in their room.

The two of them were completely naked and they were staring at the moon through the window in their hotel room, Kushina was being hugged from behind by Sasuke who was as naked as her and he didn’t hesitate to caress her round belly.

“I love you too…Kushina Uchiha,” he said with a smirk and she smiled, she liked the sound of that, and soon, they kissed once again.

To think that all of this happened because Sasuke found her mopping at a bar after a jerk left her, and even if at the time she felt hopeless, she was happy those things happened, otherwise, without Kushina’s problem, she wouldn’t be in this position right now and she was hoping this was just the start of something more amazing.
