Suddenly the women started to speak in a low tone as they now had a little idea what the challenge was all about.

“For those that still can't tell what's this last challenge about…It’s simple, I want you to wander around the place and the moment you find a group of guards I want you to ask them to free you, that’s easy, right?” Asked the queen and all the women nodded.

This was too easy and they knew there was something else, there was no way the final challenge would be that easy, but they decided to not say anything and just wait in case the queen decided to explain everything in full detail.

“If you’re nice and the stars are aligned, my guards will free you without asking anything in return and once that happens, you’ll be sent back here with me to either wait for the next contestants or become the winner,” the queen said with a smirk.

Still, the women weren’t quite sure about it, that sounded too easy, and even if the queen was someone gentle, that was too soft compared to the previous challenges.

The queen was surprised to see the exchange between Stanza and Astrix, in the many years she has been taking part in this competition, this was the first time she has seen a friendship flourish between contestants.

It makes sense for the participants to not care about each other, after all, they’re all here for the glory and most contestants don’t last for too long, so, it doesn’t make sense to become friends with people they are never going to see each other again.

“Please, don’t break,” the queen said in a low tone as she saw Stanza walking outside the throne chamber, she hated to admit it, but she was happy that the blonde managed to get to this point.
