Today's chapter is a LONG one. Almost 10,000 words! I felt like splitting it up over 2 chapters, but I thought it was necessary to set up more of the interesting conflicts to come, and I thought it felt incomplete split up. So I guess you all get a nice long one to read today.

Chapter 1 of the new story is here! Following our new protagonist Eric.
I've been trying to refine my approach to these stories, and I'm really happy with how this one has turned out so far. It's been a challenge (pun intended) to deliver a story that feels like The Challenge App we all know and love, while still keeping it fresh, and I hope you enjoy what I've come up with.

A lot of people seem to be disappointed the Sunday story didn’t feature images.
Originally there was only ever meant to be one story per week that had images. That’s how the patreon worked for a long time. The Friday story was always text only, and every now and then i did a little bonus on a Sunday but it wasn’t every week.

The first of the new weekly Sunday side stories! We're starting off strong with this two part story. I planned on this being a one part story, but I just kept going and going with the story and couldn't stop and it ended up being extremely long.
This two-parter is 20 pages and 10,000 words long in total.

I decided to give my biggest supporters something special. A sneak peek at the next Challenge App story!
This is the prologue to the story, and sets up the stakes with our new characters at play, and of course it features images too! The full chapter which includes this prologue and then the actual start to the story will be out October 22, so stay tuned for that!

As I mentioned in the October release schedule, the first 2 Sundays of this month will be comics, then we'll shift to making the Sunday post a new chapter of a random side story.
For those that love the comics, I'm still planning on posting them, but maybe once a month moving forward.
