Title: A not so smooth criminal 

Summary: A young criminal was ordered to get close to a successful older and lonely black woman, however, the last thing he expected was to not just have a night of passion with her but also end up as a model in the upcoming photoshoot of her magazine!

Chapter #1: Twist of Fate. 

“Yes, that pose is great, now give me a more serious look!” A photographer said to a young man. 

The young man was a little confused but he ended up complying with the photographer who as time passed by asked him for more poses and different expressions, he was wearing nothing but tight black boxers which was a good idea because thanks to that decision, he was able to show off his body and he loved to show his body, he was able to not get hard though. 

He was tall, so, it was easy for the people in the room to pay attention to his long and strong legs but it was hard to not get distracted by his hard abs and strong pectorals, however, there was no way to deny how strong his arms looked and it made sense for him to look like that, he’s been a gym guy for a very long time and one would say that it’s not a surprise to see this man acting like a model. 

Not only because of his hard-worked body but also because of his face, with his blue eyes, curly blonde hair, white skin, and manly face, he would surely catch the attention of those who wish to look like him and the attention of the many women that will for sure find him attractive, he was convinced of that, he knew he was being arrogant but he didn't care, there was no trace of humbleness on him, he knew he was handsome and he loved to show off his appearance, especially in this photoshoot. 

“Okay everyone, that’s good, why don’t we take a break for lunch and we can continue later?” Suddenly a dark-skinned woman appeared. 

She was the oldest person in the room, she was in her middle forties but that didn’t change the fact that she looked stunning, and thanks to the clothes she was looking incredibly sexy that was something undeniable, the woman had deep brown eyes and long dark hair. 

She’s wearing a buttoned tight white long-sleeved blouse that hugs her amazing bosom, a tight purple mini skirt that ends way above her knees, and white high heels, her mere presence is enough to make all the people in the room pay attention to her, the sound of her shoes as she walked around made a lot of people gulp, after all, this woman has a reputation of being ruthless in her work field, however, she was no tyrant. 

“Did I explain myself wrong or is there something wrong with your ears? I said it’s time for a break…I need to speak with our new model...ALONE,” the woman said with a serious expression and everyone aside from the model started to pack their things and leave the room as fast as they could. 

They felt bad because they had to leave the young man alone with the scary boss, however, they were happy they weren’t going to be the ones to get scolded today, the woman didn’t say anything until the room was completely empty. 

“Monica…I’ve seen some tough people throughout my life who were able to intimidate anyone who dared to even look at them but…You’re on another level,” the young man said with a weak smile on his face. 

It doesn’t matter how scary she is, he’s been through very difficult circumstances in life, and he has also faced a lot of strong and scary people during his short life, she’s no match for all those bastards, so, he’s not scared at all even though his new job depends on getting on her good graces. 

“Come on Jacob…Someone as handsome as you wouldn’t survive a day amongst dangerous people,” Monica chuckled and he couldn’t help but smile at her joke. 

However, when he said that he has met very dangerous people throughout his life he wasn’t joking, Monica might just think of him as just an eighteen-year-old handsome white male, but there’s something she doesn’t know about him. 

His mother had him when he was very young, however, his mother abandoned him and he was raised by his grandparents alongside his uncles and aunts whom he always thought were his siblings, he was raised in a very humble household in a poor neighborhood in the southern part of the country. 

However, his grandparents weren’t that good as parents, he indeed had a roof, at least two meals per day, and shared a room with his siblings but his grandma was a gambling addict and that addiction got her killed because she tried to scam a very dangerous man, her death caused his serious grandfather to end up as an alcoholic, his grandpa always struggled with money but he was a good guy, however, everything changed once his grandma died. 

Jacob couldn’t take it for too long and by the time he was fifteen he was spending more and more time in the streets, he was the youngest among his uncles and aunts so while his grandpa was drowning himself in alcohol a lot of them started to get married, one of his uncles end up in jail after shooting his boss, and the other one who was just a few years older than him became his best friend and the person he trusts the most, his name is Arthur, he's Jacob's favorite uncle, after all, if it wasn’t for him he wouldn’t be in this situation with Monica. 

That uncle had a secret job Jacob knew nothing about, Jacob tried to deny it for a long time but he knew his uncle was doing some illegal stuff, however, his uncle made him promise to focus on what was important as he was the only one who could save the family. 

Jacob was a very good football—I mean, soccer player, he was a striker, and people were expecting a lot of good things from him, after all, it was said by his manager that he had a very interesting technique because not only he had the instinct to score even in difficult circumstances, but he also created goal opportunities, that was a very rare type of striker to see as many of them rely too much on their team, Jacob wasn’t like that and his uncle knew there was something special about him. 

His uncle made sure to support him so that one day he would be able to get a scholarship to a good university and who knows? Maybe one day he could land on a professional team, however, that dream was over one evening in November almost two years ago when he was just seventeen. 

There was a regional tournament with a prize in cash and maybe the opportunity to be scouted by a professional team as there were rumors about some professional managers randomly watching many of the games and that was the best opportunity for Jacob to hit it big and fulfill his dream to be like Cristiano or maybe Ronaldinho, guys who came from the bottom just to raise to the top due to their talent. 

The match was tough and no team was able to score a goal for more than ninety minutes, they were going to get to the penalty shoot-out to decide which team would pass to the final, however, in an unexpected turn of events, just like Maradona in the 1986 world cup match against England, Jacob found an opportunity to take the ball and run with it for more than half of the camp, no one was able to stop him, it came to a point in which he was ready to strike the most impressive goal of his career but then something horrible happened. 

The goalkeeper wasn't going to let him score that goal in one way or another, after all, he was the son of a professional former player who now was the manager of his team, he was just for nepotism and to make his father happy, but he wasn't happy at all to be playing, and it was so ironic that this guy who has had everything in his life who had never struggled was able to destroy Jacob’s dream with one violent kick on Jacob’s knee. 

Of course, that goalkeeper got an instant red card, there was no doubt that he deserved it, he had to leave the field, and even though from a manager’s point of view that was a very stupid decision, things didn’t end that bad for the dirty goalkeeper's team because after Jacob was taken by the medical team directly to the hospital, the moral of his team was low, they were emotionally destroyed. 

Not only did the backup striker fail the score the penalty that was given to his team due to the goalkeeper’s mistake but Jacob’s team also lost during the penalty shoot-out, losing Jacob was a blow to their spirits and to say Jacob wanted to die was an understatement, he was so close but life seemed to not want him to succeed. 

He spent months in the hospital recovering, all of it paid thanks to his uncle's illegal activity of course, and he was warned from the start that he was never going to fully recover, his soccer career was over, and during those months were he was recovering he realized that just like his whole family, no matter how much he tried, he was doomed, and that point he only wanted to live fast and die young. 

That’s the moment when he talked with his uncle about his job, he wanted to be part of it but his uncle was hesitant about letting him in, he wanted Jacob to get back and finish high school, after all, the younger man lost a year due to his injury but now that he was eighteen and free to do whatever he wanted, his uncle had no way to stop him if he wanted to sell drugs or do something else. 

Just to make sure his nephew didn’t die doing something stupid, his uncle decided to let him join his buddy’s business, it belonged to a guy known as 'Big Dog', and even though he looked like a nerd, the man was intimidating. He was fat but tall, a real mass of danger, however, Arthur was friend’s with the guy since middle school, they could be considered best friends, still, that didn't mean Jacob had it easy, it was a business after all, illegal but a business nonetheless. 

Jacob had a lot of doubts about the business his uncle worked in, there were many ideas in his head, but the most obvious thing in his mind was that his uncle and his friend were selling drugs and the former soccer player was already mentalizing himself to follow the same path as a drug dealer, but he was taken by surprise the moment he was told they were actually involved in robberies. 

Homes, stores, old people, almost anything, that’s what the business was all about, and now it made sense for Jacob, now he knew why his uncle was able to send him to school and even pay for his medical debs due to the injury, they were involved in some dangerous shit and it seems like a big heist was on the way, however, that was going to take a while and a lot of planning, and before thinking about that, Jacob needed to earn the boss' trust. 

He did a few small jobs, in the first one he acted like a Jehovah's Witness as a distraction to visit old couples thanks to his appearance he was able to inspect their places if they had some valuable stuff, thanks to his charming nature and the fact that no one visited them, the couples had no problem to let him get into their homes, however, after hearing that their families never visited them and the fact that all of them were armed he just told 'Big Dog' it wasn't worth trying to steal from them. 

After failing his first job, in the next one he had to seduce a bank manager to get a key that was going to be used in the upcoming heist they were planning, they were trying to go big this time, however, the woman didn't have that key, and after failing that task it was decided that Jacob wasn’t going to participate in the heist as he was a still a rookie with just a few weeks of experience. 

Rhey couldn’t risk the operation, so, while they continue planning the heist he had been assigned to another job, for some reason he wasn’t told, he had to get close to a lonely woman who happens to be the head of a fashion magazine and it should’ve been easy for him, it should’ve been just like those times when he visited older couples. 

However, the moment Monica Williams first saw him she was in a bar and she seemed to be in a desperate situation, he knew that was his chance to approach her, so, he decided to try to ease her emotional problems, instead, they ended up in her home and had sex. 

The next day, she took him to her office and announced to her employees and him that he was going to replace the model who was supposed to appear in the next issue of the magazine but decided to renounce due to her attitude, that’s how he ended up in this situation kissing the older woman while almost wearing nothing at all.
