Yep. It's also interesting, and great writing (and Nick pointed this out), the last time Ted and Nate had a one on one conversation was in season one right before Nate gave the team pep talk. And then not again until, as you note, this episode.

2023-11-19 16:59:00 +0000 UTCI wouldn't say Ted ignored Nate but their blow up in 2x12 is actually the only one on one scene the characters had all season. Nick Mohammed, who plays Nate, did a write up explaining basically everything about the direction they took and why (but careful he did one for season 3 as well, make sure it says season 2!).
